If only Blizzard didn't have to spend 2 fucking years to find out that the players were right every time.

I didn't think they could make this game more retarded but it turns out I couldn't be more wrong.

Not a huge fan of the new hero being a hamster, but otherwise he looks very fun to play. Been wanting to play a new tank for ages.

The most recent update info email I got reeks of desperation. They must be hemorrhaging players, in biggest part probably thanks to Fortnite.
Once again proving you can't make a game an e-sport no matter how much money you throw at it.

nah, you definitely can mate. Artificial esports are very common and it's pretty easy to make esports leagues if you have enough money. OWL was just built like that, blizzjizz throwing a bunch of money at some retards to go head to head in a casual game and it somehow managed to take off.

Well they can but they fail to understand a key problem with e-sports that is, they are most often incredible boring to watch ... its like imagine seeing a basketball match from the players perspective, its not good and a good game cannot be made for spectacular purposes, this creates a issue were yes, there are people that watch online matches but its not not good for general audiences, some like card games you can do something with that but its alo going to be as niche as seeing a poker match or even more because poker rules are not hard to pick up but something like M:tG with its layers of rules is not going to be very entertaining outside the people that play and know the rules.

Even br games are more action packed than football and that racks up incredible viewership. Esports just needs more experience in broadcasting and companies willing to invest resources in improving that aspect. Big LoL and Dota 2 tournaments are already very high quality.

OWL is dead, the only reason someone is still playing it is because Blizz is paying them. Look at the viewership numbers. That's not a sport.

So do Valve and Riot and all companies who sell mostly to children.

You got numbers? Last time I read smthing about it (march or may) they said it had similar numbers with NA LoL league.
