'knowing the consequences' - can anyone currently on the EE patch know if you can disable it ? Because it takes the main fun of kingdom management away.

Make the Codex Great Again! Pathfinder: Wrath
I'm going to give this game a try. I played a tiny bit on launch but the memory leak made it unbearable for me.

I'm fully aware of the POZ in the game but I'll at least try to beat it once.

So I just bought this game along with the season pass, I'm about to start a campaign but I'm wondering about what difficulty settings I should play with. I just beat Baldurs Gate EET saga playthrough with SCS + Ascension for the first time and had a lot of fun with it (Melissan was hard as hell). I am thinking I want to go with a "Core-rules" style of difficulty with my first playthrough but I'm afraid it may be a bit too easy. Any suggestions?

The turn based mod is fucking awesome...

I'm going to keep playing and replaying this game for years to come.
I will wait until the author improves it more or gives up before trying it. Also I am staying away from mods completely until devs stop patching the game all the time.
Other than mods that make significant changes to the base game(i.e. rewriting functions rather than doing post/pre hooks,) there shouldn't be much incompatibility with mods when the game updates sans major updates like EE due to how the unity modding tool works.

Go with the hardest you think you can handle and scale it back if it's too hard.
Don't pick ironman, game likely still has a few serious bugs lurking around.

Hard at minimum.

Gen speaking I think if you ever beaten Isair and Madae you have no right to switch difficulty lower than Hard, same with SCS Melissan.

Also, feel free to turn 'auto level up' to companions, it doesn't actually automatically level them up without your confirmation. I use it for companions I have no intention of using but need to use for advisor roles.

btw for ppl who think kingmaker is sjw, do you know they removed from original module option to build brothels, and that Erastil stopped being god for traditional marriages?
Unlike the game, where as you know you can build as many brothels as you want and Jhod is traditional guy who burns heretics every time you allow him to.

yea I know it's old.gif

but nao that I've read some shit and the Pathfinder 2 playtest book I think it's time for a third system with oldschool settings of greatness and Ranger keeping their Racial Enemy instead of getting "Hunting Target" to challenge d&d and paizos :shittydog:

I'm waiting for D&D/pathfinder to do away with the entire concept of 'races' because everyone is completely equal and you're a bigot if you think an orc is innately strong than a gnome

I thought kingmaker was quite sjw at first glance at the companions, but when their story progress, it seem to me they were being a bit cheeky about it

Valerie is all about how she hates her beauty because people don't focus on the fact she's a strong wamen and try to court her and such, but when she loses it (somewhat) she flips out because she doesn't get the attention anymore. Made me think of this : http://i.imgur.com/FEyfmGy.jpg

Amiri says she's such a strong wahmen because she killed a giant with her bare hands and stole his sword, but in the end she was lying through her teeth and the giant was already dead.

Having trouble deciding what my specialist school for my Scroll Savant should be, was thinking Evocation, Conjuration, Illusion, maybe Necromancy, but I don't really know whats good in this game.

I hear PickNewArchetype is quite a good school
Scroll Savant is quite good with the new scroll vendor.
The useless one is the sin mage(thalassian specialist or w/e), all of the predetermined lockouts include schools that are too good to lose for basically anyone.

Meh. You lose 3 metamagic feats. Not sure that's worth it just to be better at casting scrolls.

When does Tristian come back? I did his quest to get him back and he said he was going to go on a walk but that was it. Is it timed? I remember having him back shortly after it the last time I played.

the part about Valerie is only half-true, a bard who previously tried to woo her began writing about her looking ugly now. IMO if someone personally attacks you it's alright to express anger towards them.
Also, there's the whole part about her possibly being worried that she's been damned by a deity and stuff considering the deity she used to worship.

He should be available right after leaving Verdant Chambers. He sometimes bugs though when there are not-disarmed traps on his way to the door.

Went back to the place and he was there again, talked to him(all the text options were greyed out because I already did it), but he disappeared and it fixed it. Weird.

I recommend looking at the spell list because some schools do not have spells at every level, which means your specialist slots will be useless.

Scroll savant sucked when I played because you only found the same three scrolls over and over, but apparently it’s better now. Being able to use scrolls at your level is pretty sweet.
