I love the fact you have a problem with my hot take of not dating children, your sister, and the mentally challenged who are basically still children. Outside of that, nobody is talking about her initial appearance.

The problem isn’t with the content of your hot take, the problem is that you started with “she’s a literal child, you pedo neckbeard” and when you found out she is 107 you moved to “she’s an adult who acts like a child for maybe magical or traumatic reasons or I don’t really know?” but then lumped them all together in one category as a “hot take” to justify your initial emotional reaction.

iirc the topic was broached because someone asked if they could romance Ember, to which you did the literal child thing—so if that person was just going off of “Elven mage” and the portrait, he had no way to know she is some weird magical child in an adult’s body.

Still went for an elf so he has bad taste, but he’s not a pedo for asking the question, nor does he fall under your “hot take” umbrella.

Apart from these not being connected to this particular case and I just listed problematic things to date that people actually do want to date (lolis, your sister, Ember who is mentally a 9-year-old, those with cognitive disabilities who are also still children), what exactly do you think is the logical response to thinking people want to date children as opposed to the emotional one? I'm genuinely curious what you think a 100% logic and fact based response would be.

Lacrymas The logical reaction is to realize that incest and pedophilia are contrary to natural law. The family is sacred. It is a place for learning of virtue—that to which the sexual urge is subordinated: charity, honesty, and on. The same is true more broadly of the natural relation between adult and child—adults of the proper (virtuous) character should act as mentors, guides and examples for children. To bring sex into it is to pervert that natural relation and damage the development of that person’s proper and healthy character.

The emotional reaction should rightly flow from this knowledge, such that when one sees natural law violated, he is annoyed, disgusted, or furious as appropriate to the situation.

Apparently Aeon has been revamped gameplay wise for beta. Can't wait to try it out, the mythic was rather bland in alpha.
