the lack of cavalry screenshots greatly disturbs me.

I’m afraid to play any of the new classes at this point.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
From Discord, yesterday. Don't think this was already posted (or if it was, the thread search function sucks monkey balls):

Hello Pathfinders! We are hoping that you are enjoying the beta, and we are grateful for your feedback. We would like to share with you what we plan to do next. First of all, there won’t be any more patches for a time being. We want to focus on preparing the next version of the beta for you, which for now we are planning to release by the end of April. And to increase our productivity we need to stop supporting the current version and put all our effort into making a new one, with new content and fixes for some of the bugs you’ve reported. The known potentially critical bugs in the current version are the following:
1) Trickster can’t progress their mythic quest in chapter 4. It will be fixed in the next version. Meanwhile you should be able to finish the chapter without this quest.
2) Greybor’s and Arueshalae’s quests can’t be finished in chapter 4. There is no workaround, but you can finish the chapter without completing these quests.
3) Lann/Wenduag’s romances are bugged. Workaround: don’t start/end the romance. You should be able to play without it.
4) on Azata path in chapter 4 sometimes your dragon will disappear. After you find out about it you need to go to the Upper city and trigger a cutscene. It should fix the issue.

Secondly, soon we will ask you to participate in the survey about the current version of beta. We will be very grateful to you if you find time to answer our questions, that kind of feedback is extremely valuable to us and may affect some choices we make during the development. That is all for now. Please continue to report the bugs you find, we will try to fix as many as we can in the next version of beta.

So no new patches until end of April.

At least they’re hammering out the romances, so we know they’ve got their priorities in order.

So much low hanging fruit on just making shit basically functional but no interest in feedback on that front.

new beta in april. not release
I'm not sure if you've read the memorandum, but we're not supposed to post things like that here. It verges on being helpful information that corrects a misunderstanding. To comply with the local rules you should have said, "The April patch is just an update to the beta you (*random profanity*) (*random slur*). You are obviously a story/combat(*slur*). Git gud."

It's pretty clear if you read page 32, section 4, sub-paragraph (c)(ii) in the memo.

Has anyone been able to do anything meaningful at Chilly Creek after the latest Beta Update?

In two play throughs it hasn't triggered for me. The journal shows "Wait for Liberation of Kenabres" and the location is empty (except for loot)

I was interested to see what the deal was with the creepy doll plot as it was working before the update.

As for issues finding Woljif before, it must have been bugged in my last playthrough (or maybe u cant find him later if u kill the thieflings like i did this playthrough) - got him straight away this time by just going south from Drezen, so yeah.

I guess this is how you can become gay at camp.

I went there in A2, nothing much happened. But it was populated and I could talk to the NPCs.

In A3 I was told (Jernaugh came to the citadel) they had a gift for me , went there, and there was suspicious activity, but no way to call them out for it. The gift is something kingdom related which doesn't exist yet.

I don't know whether this is a case of miscommunication/insufficient English skills, but one of the developers stated that the Swarm Path is not alignment locked in any way... meaning you could play a good Swarm-That-Walks... or a neutral one. Either he was talking out of his ass, trolling, or there's a really huge chunk of content not added into the game yet.

To clarify, said developer stated that you can be a Swarm-That-Walks of any alignment if you meet specific requirements/circumstances.

I like the idea of a good aligned Swarm-That-Walks of bees that eats nothing but flowers and oozes honey everywhere. However, dreadful locusts are strict vegetarians, too (as I had already mentioned some time ago).

Where's the 4th Cold Iron?
Found three in:

  • Ivory sanctum
  • Moondance Meadow
  • Ravaged Long House

Also, where in Drezen does the kobold move to?

Apparently it's bugged and they used to have some play dead animations in the alpha, while atm they go untargetable and still attack you.
Yes some of them work as intended but sometimes they attack while being invulnerable. Makes some few fights in CH3-4 a bit hellish.

Technically none of them are alignment locked. You can begin through any path as any alignment. Later at least Lich has alignment requirement for progressing into becoming "real" lich but you can still progress through abilities as non-evil. So my guess you can get into swarm as any alignment too, but maybe later there are some checks or specific options for path are Evil and you are dragged to Evil anyway.

Has anyone been able to do anything meaningful at Chilly Creek after the latest Beta Update?
Nah. Looks like WIP to me.

For Lich, has it been confirmed if it's tied to Evil only, or non-good?

Nah. Looks like WIP to me.

That's the case, though. You have to become non-good BEFORE you can ascend to Lich, and every step of the way you make evil choices. The Swarm Path is even worse in this regard, you have to perform horrific experiments on living people. Literally, every single person, including a different Swarm, tries to dissuade you from following that Path. So I can't really see what "set of circumstances" would lead a good-aligned character.
