Still no answer from Mortheim on the missing badge topic. He must be a kitsune spy.
Nah, he wrote "Ratfolks all the way!" in an earlier thread, so maybe he lost faith in their chances and went into a depression or something...

You don't see many communist spies/infiltrators screaming "glory to Mother Russia" in public, do you?

Finally got my badge today, one hour ago. It took 3 days from I linked the account and PM'd Mortheim.

Gave my vote to the rats.

Well, I've got my badge quite fast, but still cannot vote. Will check tomorrow may be.
Also, they have some limitations for "new users" that are lifted if a user hangs out on the forum for several hours and reads something. May be these basic limitations interfere with group membership and / or ability to vote.

So in general - just wait. Foxes have to be patient...

Anyways. So who's excited for Oreads? They have some good mechanics for monk builds.
>Add +1/3 on critical hit confirmation rolls made with unarmed strikes (maximum bonus of +5). This bonus does not stack with Critical Focus.
>Special Archetype for Monks - Student of Stone
>Granite Skin - +1 racial bonus to natural armor
>+2 Strength, +2 Wisdom, and –2 Charisma
>Oreads make good monks and fighters thanks to their prodigious strength and self-discipline
>And more features!

You thinking what I'm thinking? I'm thinking.. ROCK MONKS!

Hard to say if they gonna do more damage then scaled fist monks cause its so easy to initmidate every enemy in the game and make them shakened+shattered defense combo. Is it supposed to as easy as it is in kingmaker in tabletop? Intimidate checks seem too easy feel like owlcat screwed up here.

Also are favored class options in wrath?

The Intimidate check to demoralize an enemy works almost exactly like in PnP (the difficulty class to beat to win the check is identical). The only difference is that, in PnP, successive checks against the same enemy have an higher DC.

Oreads can intimidate too. While the -2 to CHA looks bad. It will be easy to mitigate through feats and accessories. Hell, all you really need is Intimidating Prowess and you're good. The real problem is whether or not it will be worth to give up Human's extra feat. I guess it will depend on how much I like the race.

For those who want to know why Kitsune, the silent majority are voting all the sudden -> Pathfinder portal had notified them. Therefore, rats only won in all other polls due to people basically exiting there, able to vote and see the poll.

Always annoyed me how low the DC was for players on the tabletop. Even a character with a high wisdom score is still going to fail a lot against an enemy with a decent (not even great) intimidate score.

Yes, in PnP it's annoying because you can easily succeed against enemies that are stronger than you and shouldn't be easily intimidated. In Kingmaker it doesn't bother me that much because there's no way I'm playing without Dirge of Doom active 24/7.

Pro-Tip Corporation.
I reiterate: Ratfolk's only notable ability is sharing the square of another ratfolk. That's garbage in a game without squares.
There are alternate traits. Most noticeable epic trait for solo runs:
Cornered Fury: Ratfolk can fight viciously when cut off from friends and allies. Whenever a ratfolk with this racial trait is reduced to half or fewer of his hit points, and has no conscious ally within 30 feet, he gains a +2 racial bonus on melee attack rolls and to Armor Class. This racial trait replaces swarming.

I remember one AP I took the fearless rage power (immune to shaken and frightened) on my barbarian, purely because the GM kept throwing enemies with dazzling display at us. Like literally every other combat he had an enemy with dazzling display.
