This is a really pathetic response to a leak. Sure, it may be inaccurate, but even so it ought to give a glympse into what kind of game they're making. Unless they do a complete re-do at some stage (which happened to WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos, for example). But I doubt something like this would happen. If anything this makes me think the leak must be pretty substantial for Josh to do this sort of damage control, otherwise it would be probably ignored altogether by the developers.

Imagine spending this much effort on the quality of the look of the words, but not the quality of the words themselves.

The most ornate, gilded, filigreed toilet. It's still a bowl for shit.

Basically like all games: graphics over substance. It's easier.

But really it's different people doing this, annd good graphics enhance gameplay. So frankly, this is nothing to complain about.

Digesting pop culture media isn't at all the same as learning a new language or even reading centuries-old manuscripts from the time. Still impressive though there are mountains of star wars shit out there

the entire game hinges on Sawyer's obsession with his triple hyphenated German---Americanness as he simply cannot accept being some Great Lakes hick

What's the point of going through all that when it would have been obvious just by using the period correct english?

Pentiment will have an appendix, which might provide an answer to the following question: Does Josh Sawyer understand what he reads?

This is indirectly promoting dissemination of misinformation. When will they be cancelled?
