Must say that all the Deadfire fans are pretty annoying retards on this forum. Are they any better in other forums,or are they achieving the peak of their mental skillz here? Seeing all this talk about how shit BG games are by millennial dipshits i decided to replay them yet again.

"Millenial" is anyone born between 1981 and 1996.

lurker king is not a deadfire fan, far from it
he just felt the need to let us know that bg2 is popamole and he's above that kind of shit
yet again
Him and FreeKaner won't stop trying to derail the thread to how shit BG games are. Can't they just make their own thread and post that shit there? This thread is about how shit deadfire is. I don't mind derailing but thy are just spamming the same shit for 10th time,it becomes tedious.

Found a Dialogue Options Report
  • 3 classes (Cipher, Priest, Druid) represent 52% of class-based checks.
  • Deadfire Archipelago (157) has more options than the other cultures combined (113).
  • Serafen is the most opinionated companion: 149 dialogue options change your reputation with him one way or another (62 negative, 87 positive), followed by Xoti with 109.
  • Pallegina is the easiest character to piss off with few options: 24 options give major negative points with her, followed by Tekehu with 13.
  • Edér is the most neutral. Only 21 options change your reputation with him.
  • Cruel (61) and Shady (53) have the most checks, Clever (17) and Stoic (18) have the fewest.
  • Xoti (50) and Aloth (32) have the most relationship checks (including Watcher and other companions), Maia (11) and Tekehu (12) have the fewest.
If you want the highest number of unique options from character creation, your character should be:
Female (8) - Aristocrat (21) - Island Aumaua (112) - Deadfire Archipelago (157) - Cipher (25)/Priest (25) of Magran (25) (+5 from Deity: Magran) - maxed Perception (61), Might (44), and Resolve (38). At least 521 options.

For the opposite, go with:
Male (4) - Soldier (2) - Ixamitl Plains (6) - Meadow Human/Wood Elf (4) - Fighter (0) - maxed Constitution (7) and Dexterity (7), average/low everything else. 30 total.

Much like the first game, it's clear the writers stuck to their favourites/comfort zones, so many major options (race, class, background, culture) are largely irrelevant.

Is Clever really only 17? I thought there was a lot more.
That's just the number of options that require a certain rank, Clever as a whole has 311 options. It's the second highest amount, only losing to Aggressive (326).

Writers were really fond of their "clever" lines, and wanted to let players pick them as often as possible. :M

Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here Strap Yourselves In
Character Reputation wheels are a joke, so easy to fill out and opposites provide no penalties nor negation. Why not at least copy/paste factions wheel system where you keep both negative and positive?

the game has 250 specific dialogue variations depending on your background
and not a single class quest

something's not quite right
Call it "if you can't do something right, don't do it at all." Look at how shallow the seven companion quests are, now imagine Obsidian spreading themselves thin on 11 individual quests based on one's class.

Pathfinder: Wrath
I guess Obsidian needs a person to keep their priorities straight. Or gay, no judgement here. Maybe a little bit of judgement.
