D:OS was decent and all, but it wasn't the kind of game that could credibly demand $25 just for beta access.

Lets take a moment and think of all the people that were alive at the time the kickstarter for Project Eternity went live and dreamed to play the beta but for whatever reasons died in the meantime and never had the chance to experience it.

Larian remains the broest of them all, making their beta open to everyone.
Bit of a different thing here.
Why?

Wasn't that early access?
what's your point? they still decided to give beta keys to all backers regardless of tier, instead of giving it just to the people who backed 95usd or more, like they said they would.

Ahhhhhhhhhh. K'.

Didn't back Divnity originally. So, wouldn't know.

There sure is a lot of uninteresting dialogue in the beta. It's like a version of PS:T set in Beregost.

And there you go, the first streamer got wiped by the road beetles and rage quit.

[insert obligatory reference to Robin Williams being an RPG fan — "You missed it by ONE WEEK! Maybe if Grimoire had released on time, it would have tided you over, and you'd have lived to see it."]

All the Twitch streams are here, Pwootage is nice and mellow.

Fair warning: the guy who calls himself Aspie Lad might be understating his condition.
