Aloth's stats would have been good had they not changed Perception - currently those are 6 useless points, luckily I'm modding that.

Found a way to attach behaviour/story scripts to different character entities?
As in, make your own companions completely but attach story scripts from normal companions to them?

Bester is modding in an in-game character editor, and I was planning to modify Perception to grant +1 Accuracy and +3/4 Interrupt, and Resolve to +2 Deflection and +3/4 Concentration
Sensuki, now that it's 23rd and streamers are allowed to stream partially the first Act, can you share with us your thoughts (vague enough to fit with NDA) regarding the game? What do you like? What don't you like (except for engagement, lol).
The anticipations is killing me D:

Watching Anthony's stream, the game looked quite easy early on, his rogue and Eder barely took any damage at all in most fights... I guess we'll be going for hard then...

I want to max out all mental stats for the conversation options. As Might is a must on everyone I realize this is not exactly optimal. Which class sucks the least with a base spread of 7/7/7/18/18/18?

I'm not allowed to talk about the game until the 26th, sorry. I am not sure when the embargo ends, my understanding was that it was in like 2.5 hours time or something. I don't really want to jump the gun and get in trouble.

I'm currently writing the script for my Guide, Part 1 should be uploaded sometime within the next 6 hours or so I suppose.

Yeah, it's understandable. And big THANK YOU for all your hard work on improving the game :brodex:

Looks nice indeed.

Sensuki should be pleased, normal mode seems like the complete IE clickfest he seem to enjoy :)

I play on Hard. I intend to try and modify the encounters to be a bit more challenging to be used with the No Engagement Mod to create a more "Icewind Dale" style experience.

Hard's just adjusted encounters and no damage reduction unlike normal and easy, enemies still can't hit or defend for shit...
Should really give PotD a go Sensuki, especially if you respec/specialize companions a bit. Boosted ACC and DEF for enemies is really nice to put them on par with an elite party composition.

To each his own though :)

I'll probably be giving the default companions a try for the stories they bring but I'm ultra pro human in these games and when you're gonna "save the world", I have problems bringing moronic misfits who are barely fit for duty around with me usually. Ah well, we'll see how it goes!

Ehy guys, i'm not looking Anthony stream (i saw some areas for just 3\4 seconds) to avoid spoilers, can you tell me which difficulty is playing and how challenging it is? Because i don't know if playing normal or hard on first playthrough

Easy: small easy encounters and you take 50% damage from enemies. Max supplies is 6.
Normal: normal encounters and you take 75% damage from enemies. Max supplies is 4.
Hard: harder encounters and you take full damage from enemies. Max supplies is 2.
Path of the Damned: complete encounters (max possible from all difficulty settings), you take 100% damage and enemies have +15ACC/DEF as well as slightly boosted Endurance. Max supplies is 2.

Most videos/streams available at on Normal I think. In none so far (either Anthony's or the "sweeftFX" guy) do they need to use anything but clicking on enemies blindly and go full speed mode.

All in all, it depends on what you want in a game like this.

Except hard is the default experience and any bug or balance reports would be best made on that difficulty. You are talking to the guy who put more hours into the BB than 99% of players will on the full release

OK but, is he having trouble or he's melting everybody?

Edit: didn't see newer posts. I'll definitely play on hard then.

As said, click blindly and go full speed mode. Aka: complete melting of everything on sight with one single mouse click per combat. I'm sure there are a couple harder situations though.
Was pretty much the same when Josh did his runs and that was on hard.
