Feargus: Why doesn't Obsidian do TB-based games recently?

They haven't ever done them have they? The only one I can think of that's in that vein is South Park, which was fairly recent. Unless you go back to Black Isle days and then that's just another "please make a TB fallout game again" plea, which isn't really about TB but about the Fallout franchise.

You should ask Avellone what he meant when he talked about "working with the Fallout IP at the source" on Twitter. Is he trying to get involved with Bethesda?

Didn't he already confirm that Bethesda doesn't even keep up with internal documents anymore and rely entirely on ausir's wiki? :M

I'm afraid that by that time we will have GOL's (gamepressure's) transcript and probably several more and it will be old news.

It ended. This speech will be a gold mine for anyone interested in why MCA left Obsidian.

You know the first draw of Vault City was done by Boyarski second by somene else, amd the third by MCA? Dont know if it is a new information.

It will be speech about his frustration with bad managment. For Avellone it was pretty strong speech.

Are you sure this was on the record? He's been pretty tight lipped about all this, so I'm really surprised he actually mentioned this. Was this in an interview or an actual speech he gave?

Radek was live reporting Avellone's comments, and I assume it wasn't a face-to-face monologue. Although I wouldn't put that past MCA.

The speech. It probably wasn't as strong as what you're thinking.

From my experience, it's pretty typical for people who have left a job under unpleasant circumstances to do some brainstorming about how they could have flourished under a different management structure. It's how you teach yourself a lesson to do better when you start over at a new job with a clean slate.
