Baldur's Gate

at first i thought this was a joke, then i saw the steam release....Dungeon Lords.
ive played Pool of radiance, it had the opposite of everything i asked here aside from maybe quests, which are decent for the timeAny of the old SSI Goldbox games.
theres like 2 or 3 armors in the game and often nothing without the witcher moveset is worth using when it comes to weapons.witcher 1, the itemization is spot on ( you get few but noticeable upgrades to your weapons/armor inspired from the books).
gothic is the series i still need to properly finish, i started either, didnt finish any of them due to the controls. They remaking witcher 1 anyway.
What about gothic 1/2 and the recent archolos mod for it?
Treasures is probably the best of the lot in terms of itemisation and story.Any of the old SSI Goldbox games.

I wouldnt call that very good.
althought to be fair, itemization is a weak point in the whole trilogy.
I also hated most quests in Tw1 and build systems never go well with witcher
Donno what controls you were going for, but pure keyboard is best.gothic is the series i still need to properly finish, i started either, didnt finish any of them due to the controls. They remaking witcher 1 anyway.

I loved Risen 1 tho
i might try Gothic 1 sometime again.
Althought im probably going elex first

Augury of Chaos module is pretty good about it too.KOTC1, Hearkenwold for KOTC2, Prelude to Darkness
Baldur's Gate 3's writing is a bit messed up. Even excluding SJWs, the writing sometimes falls apart. This is a characteristic of developers who pursue a cutscene method like BioWare. However, NPC/environment interaction is outstanding among recent CRPGs. Some quests are also good at times. Although it is concentrated in Chapter 1.Idk if its serious or not, but the only place ive ever heard shitting on BG 3 was the codex, still havent played thoBaldur's Gate
