SHITTY VOICE ACTING AND BAD GRAPHICS I'M OUT

I too lament the fact that the worldclass voice acting of the old games won't return. Also I know it comes as a surprise that an M&M sequal has blobber combat, but look at all the pretty lights, man.
I'm not surprised that an Ubisoft game looks like shit, just not interested. You have fun, though.

Isn't that a distorted Lord Xeen laugh at the end?
Yeah, it's a slowed down and distorted version of the exact Xeen death laugh clip by the sounds of it.

I don't see how it would make sense, and I doubt it's going to happen, but it would be cool if there were some references or throwbacks to the older games in this way. I doubt they're bringing Xeen back, but you never know. They did have Sheltem in the original debut trailer, too.

So this requires Uplay AND/OR Steam?
There is no (non-pirate) version of this that comes without anal probes?
Just want to make sure.

00:00 here in Germany - I see only HOMM games on UPlay...

Dunno about Uplay, but you'll probably have to wait for the next day of sales on Steam tomorrow evening before it appears there

The world revolves around AmeriKwa. Probably won't be up until 10am Pacific time when Valve usually updates their system.

It's just going to be Might and Magic lite, with genericness oozing everywhere, I don't know why people are so excited about this.

The head designer wasn't even born when Might and Magic was initially released, there's no way a bunch of hipster kids can make a game recapturing the old spirit.

UPlay is an absolute deal breaker; If the steam version came without, I'd buy it.

I tried to run uplay a little while ago, but all it did was display a splash screen with the message, "Getting Proxy," for half an hour before I gave up and killed it.
So effectively its inhibiting me from playing anything legitimately bought through their service...

But I suppose Ubisoft's gonna Ubisoft and I'll just have to miss out :(

Pirated version won't need Uplay (and that's what's so moronic about this whole DRM thing).

A lot of people here play games that came out before they were born. I was in diapers when MM1 was out. Saying younger people can't possibly make a good game in this style is just dumb. And as far as "Might & Magic lite", it seems to be more in-depth than the early games even.

Give it a chance at least, ffs.

Julien Pirou was born in 1985. MM1 came out in 1986.
