I'm disappointed he either didn't get what I was driving at or just chose to ignore it.Translating Tuluse's question:
WHY DIDN'T YOU BASTARDS MAKE A SUCCESSOR TO ARCANUM!?!?@!? OH GOD WHYY
They can always kickstart a steampunk IP. There is no need to mix everything inside PE universe.I'm disappointed he either didn't get what I was driving at or just chose to ignore it.Translating Tuluse's question:

Haha I told ya. Play GW2 for exclusive look into PE's attribute systemThe specific list may change, but the biggest difference players will notice in Attributes (compared to A/D&D ability scores) is that all of their bonuses are uniformly applied instead of being keyed to specific types of weapons or attacks. E.g. one Attribute affects bonus damage (and healing) and one affects bonus accuracy -- regardless of the weapons or spells being used.
We would like your character concepts to be viable regardless of how you distribute your Attributes. Part of our solution for this is decoupling things like Attribute-based accuracy and damage bonuses from specific types of gear or class abilities. The focus of your character may change based on how you shift the points around, but we want to avoid setting up "must-have" and "must-dump" stats.
What attributes does GW2 have? Google is teh hard.Whoa my question was answered. Druids sound badass, hope the forms look badass too

: xInclusion of pretty much everyone is big in gaming. So I think the russians can totally ask to be what they are.

Attributes are not STR DEX WIS but rather ACCURACY DAMAGE and SKILLS. This reminds me of many MMO games where you are not supposed to worry about character development but rather about combat and instantaneous skill/ability usage.
Yeah. I believe that thinking apparatus need not be turned on while playing this game. Good one Josh.
That's... certainly something.
In a single player game? No. In a MMO yes. And that too when it is not PvE.
You check accuracy for how accurately you can pick the correct answer from the list, damage for how damaging your witty remark is to your opponent and skills for rap battles. So how does one check something like "Power" in dialogue? They promised stat checks there, right? Will Charisma be dropped completely then? Will it be replaced by a skill to help you choose the right line?

That's like so Terry PratchettYou check accuracy for how accurately you can pick the correct answer from the list, damage for how damaging your witty remark is to your opponent and skills for rap battles.
Sawyer doesn't like social skills, so they're out. Any extra dialog options will be made available via C&C, like you side with group A, you get special dialog for group A and their enemies group B.So how does one check something like "Power" in dialogue?
