Looks the same as old threads started back in Bioware, Bethesda, etc forums back in the day. Only difference is "End of RINE!" after butthurt overload seems a bit slower on the Steam forums.

I already agreed with you that of course they don't need to brag about second place if they have "better" awards, I disagreed with your take on why that is the case. I mean take a look. In bg3's case the goty doesn't even help them because everyone bought the game anyways. Something called 'destructoid'(never heard of them) snubbed baldurs gate 3 for the new zelda game. Didn't stop them from giving GOTY 2019 to outer worlds lol.


I want everyone to think of this. Outer worlds was 2019's game of the year in 2 publications.
