Less whining, more reviewing.
We still need Avernum: Escape from the Pit, 4 and 5.

To annoy you.IMO, the list should be focussed on quality games rather than listing the most RPGy RPGs. The purpose of steam curating is not to make an ideological statement but to help people find games to buy and play. So a good action-rpg like Dark Souls belongs on the list, and a boring fully-fledged RPG like Dragon Age: Origins does not.
If RPG Codex doesn't focus on rpg's why have a list at all? You will end up with a bunch of lists that contain exactly the same games with minor differences. What's the point ?
There is no way Dark Souls is better than DA:O.IMO, the list should be focussed on quality games rather than listing the most RPGy RPGs. Action RPGs are still RPGs. Worth playing if they are good.IMO, the list should be focussed on quality games rather than listing the most RPGy RPGs. I haven't actually played Dark Souls yet, so I'm just going by hearsay when I said it's "good".. Buy I was unable to finish DAO because the story and combat was so mindnumbingly boring, it's just a plain bad game. There is no way Dark Souls is better than DA:O.IMO, the list should be focussed on quality games rather than listing the most RPGy RPGs. Sure there is -- Dark Souls gets about a 0 for writing/story but DAO's score is in the negative. There is no way Dark Souls is better than DA:O.IMO, the list should be focussed on quality games rather than listing the most RPGy RPGs. I'm assuming that the propriety of a vote will be judged by how well it aligns with your personal taste, yes? Vote was open, list is a valid representation of the tastes of people who voted. If you hadn't voted, and regret it now, well, sucks to be a dumbass, doesn't it? Learn from your experiences and vote next time.
That would only apply here if the list was formulated according to the annual vote. Apparently it isn't. Try harder.
5k followers bros, a few hundred more and we overtake the popamole RPG curator. If it still upsets you that we have games on the list that you don't personally approve of, think of them as a sacrifice for the greater good of defeating the popamole. I'd even stomach BG1 being on the list, as banalshitboring I see that game as.
So? You keep complaining about games that are indeed on the list, and in the conversation I was replying to, you were undermining the validity of the poll, which didn't meet your as-of-yet-undefined standards of propriety. Please decide what it is that you're butthurt about, exactly. Better yet, make a thread in Site Feedback with a constructive suggestion as to how this should be decided, and spare us the pleasure of your repetitive and pointless whining.

Dude, that's harsh. It takes skill and guts to craft a story using just a few cryptic remarks and cues and leaving it to the player to piece things together. Much better than the usual you must find the jade monkey before the full moon and stick it the baddies ass cuz u are the chosen one. I'd give it a 6/10.Dark Souls gets about a 0 for writing/story
An anuall vote for a list to go on steam is not a good idea. The voting will get trolled to high heaven just to make the codex look silly to the general public.
i can see who is butthurt because people dont like his piece of shit favorite game
Huh.Dude, that's harsh.Dark Souls gets about a 0 for writing/story

or maybe it just doesn't have any story to speak of and you're reading too much into it
