Using the poor man's stilt:
I built some pedal extensions using copper pipe since it's a lightweight metal then just bolted them to the existing pedals after removing the rubber pads. I've used the same pedals for over 15 years and just transfer them from new car to new car. I don't use, or need, any type of hand device... just the pedals.
