DA2, FO3. If I've played worse wannabe RPGs then I don't remember them. I remember Wake of the Ravager and Menzoberranzan, so I doubt it.

Especially obnoxious in DA2 were the fetch quests. I mean, why even bother with side quests at all if you can't add more flavor than a random float that might not even make any sense when you return the item? Or was that the whole point, Bio intentionally made them so bad so that they could claim that no one wants side quests besides the dating sim stuff?

Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption, Diablo, and games of the Fable series. I don't know who decided that every Third-Person Hack-and-Slash action game needs to be categorized as an RPG, but if we view these games as RPGs, they are certainly the worst. I enjoyed them for what they were, but the lack of real choices to make in character development and interaction with people felt disappointing.

I suspect they wisely stopped playing after 2, and thus have no basis for comparison.

I stopped playing about halfway through 1, if I recall correctly... it's been a long time.

I haven't played it, but I hear that the Farscape RPG has a good story and voice acting but is otherwise crappy.

The Witcher is hated more than Skyrim and Mass Effect 2? I'm no potato, but seriously?

And where's Deus Ex: Invisible War?

Dungeon Lords, probably. Absolutely awful game design. It was probably rushed too, because I remember some arrows that were for changing something on the character creation screen were greyed out, and later removed with the patch.

I'm guessing some people voting for TW probably feel it's overrated? Personally I loved it, but I'll admit that could be partly due to the fact that it was released during the deepest decline - which might have made it stand out more than it would have around, say, 2000 or so.

Invisible War has garnered 6 votes thus far (including yours).

I'm going to post only games that I hoped to be good but they turned out to be complete shit. Because, you know, everybody knows that Gorasul sucks and it was actually hard to expect anything else even when it came out but...

Oblivion - What spoony said about Ultima IX - "BETRAYAL!", but "THIS GAME SUUUUCKS!" would also be appropriate. Only good thing I can say about this game is that It prepared me for shitpancake that was Fallout 3. I didn't hated F3 mainly because after playing Oblivion I knew F3 will be terrible.

Neverwinter Nights OC - Not only one of the most boring games I ever played, but it also introduced me to concept I hated ever since - Essential NPC's (I know, Overseer in Fallout was immortal but idea of trying to kill him actually never crossed my mind, double standards I guess).

Neverwinter Nights 2 - Forced companions - nuff said.
