Not sure if this will be of interest to anyone, but Humble has a bundle of things that looks like it's from Gary Gygax and his son who tried to do that OSR thing IIRC.

I have about a half dozen of those books in hardcover. I maybe too much of a Gygax fanboy. I really wish the Troll Lords would have been able to finish Castle Zagyg, but Gary's widow pulled the license a couple decades back.

I haven't gotten to that video yet. Having turned 50 myself this year I must say D&D has changed (obviously).

I would have posted the 12 days of Christmas WOTC er D&D Beyond was celebrating but it was over around the 15th. This new 5.5 edition or w/e you want to call it is really using the old D&D cartoon as a springboard. One of the FREE modules was Uni the Unicorn something or other. It has a new female hispanic cleric who is part of the party.

There's talk of a new tv show maybe in the works rather than movie. Considering that old D&D car commercial with actors portraying the old d&d cartoon characters... I'd say make the show around them. Why the fuck not?

Here's a post I made elsewhere:

Well, as said in the article, the Beyond D&D 12-days of Christmas links are gone now. I managed to actually snag those digital items and attach them to my D&D Beyond app. All I have on there is the free stuff. I'm not much of one to purchase stuff and not be able to DL the pdf. Maybe it is because it is on the phone and I need a computer attached to internet to DL. I was mostly interested in the Uni the Unicorn adventure anyway.

Beyond Empty Lair - Roll again

I think the Kobold Press stuff ends tomorrow.. I'll pop up both links but you'll see an empty cave at D&D beyond. Just a quick note I failed to notice was how much they're pushing the old D&D cartoon for 5e. An interesting idea and I will say they added a female priest to the group.

Kobold Press always had errata docs and stuff but the free stuff was nice to grab. I post this as the article keeps linking polygon articles instead of the Kobold press link.

Hope that works.

Ah yeah, and someone mentioned a Dungeon Crawl Classics Bundle of Holding
