Wasteland 1. I finished it and liked it, but getting soft-locked (!) twice (!!) one of which was literally on the roof of the final dungeon (!!!) and having to roll my party a total of three times made it just not fun in the end. I want to throw up just thinking about pressing the spacebar until I get a character with decent starting stats again.

Let's see. That i remember:

Beyond Divinity - In terms of gameplay a failed experiment, in term of story and atmosphere, a butchered version of Divine Divinity bugged charm - only without the charm. some nice idea completely wasted.
Divinity Original Sin 1 - Turn-based combat is nice enough but atmosphere, story and characters of the game turned me off completely - the mesh between plot and "whimsical" is so off-tune it hurts. And completely destroyed the charm of the world of Divine Divinity (that had a much better way of meshing moods). At this point better doing a turn battle simulator without story or with a minimal excuse story.
Pillars of Eternity - Completely off "rhythm", abandened it twice because it didn't engage me enough. Then i spoilered myself what the point of the story was and... well both nihilist and bland together? Too much.
Darkstone - Liked that the final is a dragon. Classic stuff. Then, the enemy is not really a dragon. Ok, but it is quite bland. Still can have some fun. Aging mechanic (yes, it can be overcome but really...), fuck off.
Gothic 3 - It's shit, what is to say?
KOTOR II - Boring, mutilated and fuck with "deconstruction story" in my space opera, thank you very much.

That i liked... Ys I - I defeated Dark Fact. I'm not facing that bastard again. Never.

Ultima I - Has been interesting, but once is more that enough.
Ember - Simple game, has its charm, but connecting abilities with equipment... what did they smoke and where i can buy it. Asking for a friend, of course.
Two Worlds - Had some fun with this, but it is shallow in that exploring just has some cave with monsters, equipment system really is not that rewarding (no legendary things in lost caves, secret monsters) and it just does not have a sense of mystery in the world.

Neverwinter Nights 2 - I will not suffer through the starting area again. Fuck that, even if that means I won't get to play MOTB.
I don't get this one. MOTB is largely a separate campaign. Yes, there are some references to the OC, obviously as it's the same character story-wise, but you can just create a new character and jump directly to it without playing the NWN2 OC again at all.
Well, people keep telling me that MOTB won't make any sense if I haven't done the main campaign.

I don't think it follows the shadow king story from NWN2 OC and there are barely any characters from it. I still wouldn't play MotB without playing OC because you play as the same character.

And i never finished MotB because i got fatigued. Maybe one day.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Dragon Age.

I played a pirated version back in 2009, at some point I added it to my Steam wishlist with the intent of maybe playing it again one of these days...
But every time there's a Steam sale and I scroll through my wishlist and see Dragon Age Origins I remember the incredible amount of copypasted trash mobs this game throws at you, and how drained I felt when I finished it. This game gave me trash mob PTSD. And the tedious amount of literally copypasted encounters is the only thing I can think of whenever I see this game.

I don't think I want to submit myself to this torture again.
There is more trash mobs in Morrowind than in Dragon Age Origins.
Morrowind has no trash mobs.
It has enemies on the roads and in the wilderness attacking you sometimes, yes. But those are usually singular enemies that can be dispatched very quickly, especially those on the roads, which tend to be weak stuff like rats and cliffracers. Especially at high levels they are quickly killed.
It doesn't have dungeons where every single room is filled with the same copypasted encounter of a handful of enemies, which take half a minute to dispatch because the combat is slow. Dragon Age has that in spades.

It probably took me ~24 months and ~250 hours to beat the game, maybe longer. The terminator robots at the end are a form of cruel and unusual punishment.

Just googling MM6 TERMINATOR, once I saw that it sent a shiver down my spine.
You just aren't good at it. Which is understandable since it was your first run. And yeah mm6 is a pretty long game. And as far as I remember you may simply skip those with invisibility if you feel like it.

As for the topic, Fallout 3, duh. If there's one game that I hate then it's F3. Other than that never say never.

Dude you are contradicting yourself, not to mention the abysmal gameplay of Morrowind, even DAO combat system feels more involving.

I beat that game when I was like 10-12 at the oldest. I did not skip them with invisibility. Even nerds on youtube have a hard time with them. So I'm not going to feel bad.

Eventually I killed them all, every single terminator. It probably took me like 75 hours lol.

Any Larian game, including BG3. Especially BG3.
Ditto. I loathe these games and I've played all of them and tried very hard to like them. They are just awful and I will never install them again.
Also the Witcher series. Hate them all.

On the other hand I play Morrowind and Bg1&2 every single year. I never get tired of them.

I enjoy the trash mobs because I enjoy mowing through them, so more is better unless the enemies have some kind of unfair advantage, but the regular mobs rarely do.

Temple of Elemental Boredom. I can't get into an RPG without story or atmosphere. "Here's a generic fantasy environment, now go kill generic fantasy monsters, the gameplay is GREAT!" - no thanks, I'm superstraight.

Might and Magic Series: loved it back in the day when I was young. Gradually getting stronger, seeking the best loot, exploring dungeons, finding secrets. No level scaling.
But I can't be bothered with any of that now, especially since 6 is a very long game.

Tibia: used to slave away in this online rpg while in high school but have seen it all and no interest going back and getting confronted how childish this game became.

Neverwinter Nights: Graphics are literally too outdated now to ever go back to it.

Command & Conquer, Rome Total War: once you played all the missions and some skirmishes, I got enough of it.

Dragon Age Origins: These days I can't deal with the fact that this game has gays in it. I experienced the story and have no intention to ever go back to it.

Icewind Dale: This one I used to go back to regularly but last year hitting Kuldahar and needing to kill all skellies and yetis again, I was like screw it, I have literally milked this cow dry. Lets just preserve the good memories of this game.

Condemned Criminal Origins: Really liked this game back in 2006. Replayed this year but will be the very last time I installed it on my pc.

I hardly play games these days. On my laptop there is only Jupiter Hell, Brigador, Legend of Grimrock and F.E.A.R. Jupiter Hell is rogue-like. Brigador, you can do a few missions to spend your free time while not overdoing it. F.E.A.R. has quick saving, this game can be played in short bursts as well.

I wonder why I am even on this forum.

Never say never. Sometimes I bounce off games, but for some reason that makes me replay them eventually.
I would highly recommend Grim Dawn if you're looking for an excellent Diablo-like/aRPG.
This was one of those. It's so ungoldy boring and challengeless, I ran around not even bothering to spend skill points for multiple levels and was still stomping all the mobs (highest available difficulty). I wish arpgs didnt do this "uhh first 80 hours are just a tutorial, you MUST slog through the campaign and run around this empty boring world doing fetch quests, the game really only begins at the endgame" shit. Why cant I just have fun in a video game? They took the worst parts of Diablo 2 and made them the only thing to do in the game. I'll probably come back to that game eventually, and eventually I'll have enough of giving up on it.
I would consider replaying most games, but definitely not newer larian games and fallouts starting with 3.

It's the same character but a very different storyline, with only a few references to the original campaign. I think it works totally fine as a stand-alone, although you'll still hae to deal with the NWN2 camera.

there are basically three categories of rpgs that I have finished, which at certain points in my life I thought were cool, yet I will not replay them:
1. I finished them once and that was enough.
2. I played them (N) times and changed my mind about them.
3. I played them (N) times, I still love them, but I'll probably never replay them, because unfortunately we have limited time on this earth

First category:
Wasteland 2 - typical 6/10 game. Just enough to fill two weekends, nothing more.
PT - when you already know the story, when you have already answered "What can change the nature of a man?" question, you see no reason to return to PT. Even though I would love to visit Sigil again, I would rather revisit it in another game, because the combat in PT sucks terribly, and the game is not as short as, for example, Fallout is, which can be finished in like 3-4 sittings. PT is a great single playthrough rpg every fan of the genre should experience though.
Both pathfinders - first of all: definitely too long. secondly: eh, are they worth it even?
KOTOR II - basically what AfterVirtue said
Arcanum - dexs favorite, but it didn't impress me that much. I played it, I don't regret spending time with it, but the junkiness of this game + steampunk, which I am not a fan of, won't make me want to replay it. I can see why its rated so highly here though.
Witcher I - decent game, loved the atmosphere. Too clunky, too junky, and some sections are just awful.
Diablo - I played it for the first time a year ago, because such arpgs have never really appealed to me, but I decided to finally give it a try. I had fun playing it, i appreciate its atmosphere, but it's not really a game for me. kinda short too.
Prey - I'll probably play SS2 about three more times before I come back to this. it wasn't that bad, but rather sterile and forgettable.

Second category:
NWN2 OC (3) - everyone knows that the story and characters suck. I like the 3.5 implementation in this game, but the encounter design is fundamentally primitive. The ability to spam rest absolutely ruins the pace of the game. Yes, guys, if you can, just go straight to MotB...
Beths games - I loved Oblivion when I was a teenager, but I just cant play it now. There are many reasons to hate oblivion, everyone knows them, ive learnt them at some point too. same for fo3. Skyrim and FO4 are just proto-slop, fuck both of them. Skyrim, the greatest game ever made, is just so unspeakably soulless. and i knew it back then, on release, despite my WIS being significantly lower than today. how can people adore it so much?
FNV (2) - a controversial game here. Many would put it in the same category as Bethesda fallouts, which I personally think is unfair. I am aware of its many flaws, but it's definitely not as shitty as fo3. However, after completing Sonora about 3 months ago, I realized that I would rather play this brand of fallouts. i planned to replay FNV at some point this year, but this most likely wont happen. the next and the following years too.

Third category:
VTMB (4) - 2 playthroughs with "normal" clans, 1 malk and 1 nosferatu.
FO2 (3) - I like FO2 for its improved gameplay over FO, but FO has superior atmosphere (and is a bit shorter), so I'd rather replay FO a few times than go back to FO2. Besides, isn't it possible to play FO on FO2 engine these days? That would be cool, i need to check it out.
Deus Ex (3) - not much to add here. awesome game, 3 playthroughs are enough though.
