I dunno about the youtuber I just connected the dots the moment I saw the news article.

I repeat my prediction for BG4 from last year:

I say it'll never happen. Hasbro are clowns and they'll fail to get another Baldur's Gate project off the ground.

I see the point, but if SKS was working on something small, which ok it's a relatively small studio, then hiring a person who worked on AAA games, failed sure, but AAA, is kind of suspicious.

Are people who worked on an AAA game supposed to only work on AAA games for the rest of their lives? Kingdom Come was made by people who worked on Mafia and Arma.

Even if you are developing a not large game, you'll still want the "organisational experience of developing large game". Cause "large" is all relative, even a Pathfinder Kingmaker is not a game you can make with a bunch of inexperienced people.

It may have been a financial failure, but Busche got it to ship. There are claims that it was a massive unplayable mess before Busche started directing it. That has value, even if the tastes are warped (and that can be adjusted).
