It’s always been a dream of mine to finish this one. I’ve been playing it on and off, and it’s taken me years to get to get to this stage. I finished the main campaign more than five years ago and got burned on it. I completed the first mission of the expansion (sorry, “Mission CD”) a year after, and I’m finally playing it again to complete it. Interestingly, the first expansion scenario is the trickiest because you have to race for the gold and get there before the AI; if you don’t get it first, you are pretty much doomed.

Four levels left. I can do it!

What game?

A horse of course

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia

Thrones has gotten a bit of a hammering on metacritic & Steam, which isn't entirely fair. Essentially it's a budget Total War which should've been DLC for Attila and priced as such, but it's still a competent game with most of the same good and bad points of recent historical titles plus the awesome battles. If you enjoyed Attila or like the time period give it a try when it's on sale.

I've given Hollow Knight's 100% Steel Soul challenge another go.

The Lifeblood update has added a new boss at the end of the Hive area. He's pretty easy as long as you...

:hmmm:

He's pretty easy as long as you don't try any fancy moves with the Shade Cloak and know the bees he spawns are invincible. He fights similar to Hornet.

The Traitor Lord in Queen's Garden has also been upgraded. He is bigger, has more attack patterns, more HP, and is now one of the few bosses that deal 2 points of damage per hit. He turned into a serious threat. I was down to 2 HP near the end.

The fight against Hollow Knight is trivial. I stacked up 5 blue masks before I went in and tried to keep as many of them as I could for the true final boss.

Australia went rather quick: only one enemy and his HQ his rather close to yours. Just deny him the gold (it’s on your way to the HQ) and it’s even easier.

Australia is also 100% white.

my annual playthrough of Thief 2 (to remind myself that it is the greatest game in existence) is nearing an end.
normally I don't like cutscenes, but the cutscenes in this game are so. fucking. good.
I would pay money to watch a feature length Thief-movie that looks like this.

Now that I’m done with The Settlers 2, I can start another game. I think I’d very much appreciate playing something in a different style and in a different setting. Let’s see.

Perfect.

Edit: ah, the days when manuals were one-hundred-page-long and more!

I finally finished this fucking game. My save file started like 4 years ago.

I tried going for True Healer too, but turns out the last battle is fucking impossible to keep everyone alive if you've got no spells cus you're doing alchemist.
