True in places where no union or workers organization exists and other workers have no say on who is hired / fired .
(A single manager decides who is hired / fired without asking for other workers opinion about persons fired.)

Pfft. Unwritten rule? You people know nothing about corporate life.

You don't fire someone you just hired because then YOU look like an idiot for opening up a position that was apparently unnecessary.

CYA isn't just a catchy acronym in the corporate world.

True whenever the other workers are organised and have a say to who is hired/fired

last hired first fired is actually the most common way to lose a job... he prolly didn't get the axe because he is/was, as noted, cheap.

Interplay is clearly single manager decides case.

Chris, even in Union environments it takes some time for people to join up, months, even some Unions require you to take a test, but those are more like guild Unions. Anyway, if you're not in the Union, they couldn't care less if you got fired the first day. Where I work, people get hired and then get fired two or three weeks later because they're not fast enough or pulling their own weight etc. It's also why where I work has the best wharehouse crew that I've ever seen.

generally speaking, even in a non-union situation, loyalty, i.e. years of service, does make a difference come layoff time. SKR does have marketing appeal due to his work with WotC and his lack of experience in the crpg market makes him cheap. two good reasons for a manager picking victms to keep sean. ya never know, whomever chose to keep him may just have liked him. it comes down to that, too...

Oh, well, as long as the ping pong annoys him, that makes it all OK.

I noticed he doesn't try to defend some of the other crap he said.

The depths of talking out of one's ass has been taken to an artform here again. Not too surprising.

Exactly . I did not say anything else.

In unions the last guy that was hired is usually the first guy that will be fired.

Heh. It's just funny how one can get from his obviously liking his job to being happy others' lost theirs. Talk about a stretch.

the adventure of sean k reynolds in "THE CRAZY BITCH I COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF"

carry on.

heh, heh, I was expecting a Penthouse forum-style sex story.....

Teh Sean said:
"Beth, what the hell is going on?"

"I'm not Beth."

"Oh? So who are you?"

"I'm Ellie. Where hell are my clothes?"

I wonder which personality Sean liked fucking the most? The 13 y/o boy?

Behind you.
"Beth, what the hell is going on?"

"I'm not Beth."

This is the part where most people know it's time to call for a taxi.

I kind of wonder if Sean K. Reynolds didn't make that whole thing up, because I can't imagine anyone being so desperate for sex they'd stick around for any of that.

Want something truly amusing? Sean gets his panties into a twist at NMA.

I hope he enjoys the new rank I gave him. It serves the shithead right for the bullshit he's spewed. PayPal, BIS is still "alive" (good one, Sean), and much more.

And, if it weren't for kumquatq3 sucking up to Briareus and Sean both (it appeared), you could see Briareus defend Sean in a manner that suggested "manwhore". That was awhile back, though.
