When I played Danganronpa I hoped it would eventually turn into an FPS. Years later I got my wish.

Do you get a small health bonus from doing these glory kills like Brutal Doom, or is it a cosmetic effect?

Ruh-roh! I see one of the biggest issues I have with any shooter, especially when it's a retro one - excessive and unnecessary screen shake to simulate recoil and gun firing impact.

It wasn't cool in mods like Brutal Doom, it will never be cool in anything else. If you want to have recoil, have actual recoil, don't make my screen shake like I'm having a seizure. :(

Nothing wrong with screenshake. It has always been cool and brutal doom didn't invent it lol if that's what you're implying. Plenty 90s shooters had it. Option for soyboys to disable is the solution.

I really don't dig the frame around the edge of the screen, it just unnecessarily cramps the FoV.

Muzzle flash in yellow-orange on all guns is boring.
Make its kewl, with redish hues, blues, greens, purples.
Different shapes too.
Very cheap to make, lots of impact on visuals.
