It is similar to the new xcom in that it has the automatic cover hugging with the shield emblems shtick, no ammo management and 1-3 action points.

It is, however, much less retarded than neuxcom.

So bros, I have one question, since I'm inexperienced with steam...

Does "preloading" a game means what I just did with Shadowrun Returns?

I.e. I just went on in steam, and clicked on +add a game, and put in the KS key, and now it's in my library. But I don't have the option to download it yet. I thought preloading means I can already download it, to be prepared, and I just couldn't play it till they "flip the switch". And then when they do, I just start up the game and play it, without having to download it first, as I will seem to have to do now. First wait for it to download and than start playing...

Nope. Preloading is that you download most of it apart from a few files that get unlocked at the launch. You just added the game to your steam library. Shadowrun has no preloading.

Which imo is for the better as preloaded games end up cracked and on torrents early depressingly often.

You can't preload it before they decide that you can, possibly you can't preload at all, and have to wait till launch to start the downloading. I'm guessing the game isn't very big though.

I hope they pump that cash in the Berlin campaign and make SRR the "complete" game it should be. Maybe with real saves and free roaming.

I'm busy now. Is it worth playing right now or it can wait until the weekend?

Does anyone know if they count the added SRR kickstarter rewards as sales for the purpose of the top list? Or are those actual steam preorders?

Real saves: Yes please!
Free Roaming is already in modules like "Life on a Limb".

Go to sleep, dibens. The game isn't out for the next 8 hours.

Incidently, I'm off to work. Expect to play this thing either late tonight or tomorrow evening. Looking forward to an additional 30 or so pages of inanity here.

I bought it for that price some weeks ago. Turns out they turned the price down to 12,59 instead in the meanwhile, no idea why :M

Of course, the problem is that Darth's impressions don't really differ from Eurogamer's review that much. Both reviews list pretty much the same issues, both agree that atmosphere/story is good, both enjoyed it.
