I'm kind of hoping some team will possibly do the 2 earlier console games that were made and put it in this engine. If that's possible.

looks fucking awesome! I wonder what will happen if I will use the drone to spam attacks against that guard next to the airduct, and then hide back in...

Holy shit...never played the PnP, but this will be making me a fan.

EDIT: Well technically I did play it once and didn't particularly care for the dice-rolling system...

I just saw that video and decided to post here because i think it's unfair this thread get only 17 pages compared to the P:E/Torment/W2 ones D:

What I liked most: AI isn't retarded, using knowledge to make a battle easier, risk and reward system with the Shaman spirits, using the drone to scout, skill checks on dialogue and obvious TURN BASED. I expected something cool but my eyes are still adapting to the intense light of the incline. So, conglatulations to the HBS guys! From the untrusted underdog to favorite kickstarter project.

Looks really really good. Preordering this shit now.

That said: Why does it say "-12 damage" and so on? If anything they deal +12 damage. -12 damage would be healing.

Hey, Jake is in!

Also, the slight visual resemblance to nuXCOM was a bit jarring, but considering that's the only complaint I can come up with - :incline:

Watching that video made me feel like it's 90's, I got home after school, opened cheap alcohol and started slaying caravans with turbo plasma rifle.

Haha, 15:27 : "they [spells] don't have as much cooldown,"

- i wonder how the decline crew from the PE thread will respond to this. And will we see some head asplodes or some cognitive dissonance from our dear Excidium ?

I feel bad that I haven't pledged at all, because I blow all my money on other kickstarters. :( No problem, will purchase on day 1.

I don't have to respond, because PE will be just as awesume, just without Turn based. :smug:

Also one of the commenters is fucking obnoxious, keeps interrupting when one dude is trying to explain.

The sheer fact this is being designed by the fucking Father of Shadow Run and has cool downs (in a turn based combat system) doesn't bother me.

Also I'm a bit rusty on my Shadowrun spell mechanics.

I absolutely loved the narration in the video. Those guys just had so much fun.
Yup, the HBS guys seem like good folk, and very into what they're doing. Their KS pitch video and video updates were all pretty great. Very enthusiastic about their games, funny, and not too full of themselves. Probably the main reason I dropped more than I should have on their KS (that and I love Shadowrun).
