This is looking pretty good even if it is mainly focused on combat. And I can't wait for the content made by the editor. Million thanks again Roguey for the game.

Well, it's a Shadowrun game what else is it gonna be focused on, rat diplomacy?

The main reason I'm not getting this game? The editor. I know myself... The moment I get my hands on that editor, I'm going to spend 16 hours a day making mods... It looks like a modder's wet dream!

yep, looks good, especially the background.
Really hope the exploration/adventure part will not be too small and a good story because even if the combat part is not bad, i'm quite sure it will not be what will make this game memorable.

Investigation, politics, manipulation, and stealth?
Aren't those all the things that go wrong before a shootout starts? :M

That stuff is good too but the OC should focus on the most typical scenarios anyway

LOL "Street Samurai". Fuck shitty labels! How about, you know, having meaningful characters who excel at certain tasks and shit? Just a thought.

Gameplay looks fun though.

I'm wondering will the Berlin DLC be available when the game is released on Steam next week?

Not a chance. The reason it's a dlc instead of part of the main game is that they didn't have the time and money to make it before releasing Seattle

Hopefully my laptop can run this without a problem, seeing as the new power source i bought to fix my desktop hasn't arrived yet... it's times like these that make me regret a little bit about living on an island in the middle of nowhere, but then i realize "beaches, no traffic, yay!".

Core i3 with 2GB ram and a shitty ATI mobile card, any chance it runs well enough?

It runs on tablets, so hopefully yes.

I'll be happy to keep supporting them if the campaign(s) doesn't/don't disappoint! if they do...well, maybe. the editor alone is already obviously a triumph, so if whatever their next project is has got similar "even if we can't design and write campaigns for shit it's still worth owning" feature, I'll pry throw down. hopefully the campaign won't suck and there'll be no ambivalence!

Street Samurai have been part of the shadowrun setting since 1st edition in 1989. They're the combat specialists who augment themselves heavily with cyberware and bioware. (As opposed ot Adepts who do much the same except with magic, the modern-day parallel to the adept archetypes in Earthdawn). they're a well-defined subset of shadowrunners with a known and understood role. Theyr'e referenced multiple times in all source material and novellas. Leaving them out wouldn't be true to the legacy. Newfags need to do their research before they go flapping their mouth. Otherwise they just end up looking like idiots when they try to be edgy.

Likely but none of us are missing the chance of telling someone how retarded they are.
