I hope to God Troika isn't making a Gamma World game.

I've been confused by this for a while...why exactly do people think Troika might be working on a Gamma World game? Is there something about Chris Glenn's concept art that reminds some of the GW setting besides the post-apoc appearance?

I dunno why exactly.

Personally I think people just have a major fear of the giant psychic mutant cacti.
Gamma World was too goofy for its own good. (and in ways it wasn't trying to be unlike, say, Paranoia. Now that'd be a fun license for someone to pick up.)

The state of insanity.
Paranoia would definitely make for a cool CRPG setting if done right. Heck, I wouldn't argue if someone managed to pull off a good Teenagers From Outer Space CRPG. :P

Probably because Tim Cain doesn't like the setting and has stated this on several occations, both publically and privately.
