Wait, what? How old is this squid thing? I saw this 6-7 years ago on a Croatian forum and it was written in Croatian by an illiterate idiot. It's rather famous around here.sgc_meltdown said:Storyfag said:Anyone has a spare bottle of brain bleach? Halp?Elim said:i drank it all, and i am still raging.
Hello boys! I have a suitable distraction for your addled brians
Contemplate these deeply.

I'll play along with the main quest and probably grab a strategy guide to get through the trickier puzzles
Clair- what? And if you really are the sort of person who likes to be taken by the hand, there's a 'Clairvoyance' spell that draws a path along the ground to your next quest objective.
Look a fellow crusader fighting for the cause! Hurrah, Codex, your influence spreads!Pl4y3rsl4y3r (Seriously someone actually signed up with that fucking name) said:Sorry, Am I alone in thinking we DON'T WANT non-rpg...non-Elder Scrolls fans playing these games???
Then we may end up with watered down, softcore, action hack and slashes with five hours of content.
Actually, thinking back Oblivion had a quite a casual gamerbase which is why I'm suprised Skyrim retains a lot of complexity. (the day that they get rid of Enchanting is the day I stop playing).
Except Oblivion was still widely regarded (among Elder Scrolls veterans) to be dissapointing.
...TLDR VERSION (LOOK AT MASS EFFECT FOR WHAT HAPPENS WHEN CASUAL GAMER FOCUS GROUPS GET A SAY)

There is always meatspin.com.
Oh my, that idiot doesn't know what he is talking about. Tricky puzzles? In Oblivion II? Yeah, sure. On the other hand he represents hordes of brain damaged fucktards so maybe he considers walking straight as a tricky puzzle.

That about sums up Skyrim too.

VentilatorOfDoom said:The guys at Bethesda are no mugs. Every single time you see Todd Howard or Pete Hines or Craig Lafferty talking to a journalist, the first thing out of their mouths is the line about Skyrim's accessibility, its universal appeal, its ability to be all things to all men, and women. And this isn't merely a marketing-made dogma shaped for the masses. It's the game's central design principle.
What about accessibility -- making Skyrim a game that's inviting to people who might not play RPGs as much, and also the hardcore people who have been playing The Elder Scrolls since the beginning?
Honestly, it's not something that we think about a lot, in that we've found that we're getting a pretty big audience making a game that we want to make.
...
I think the audiences are there, and we tend to make our game more for ourselves and other people who play a lot of games.

If it is turn-based (RT w Pause is somewhat acceptable, but we will still RAGE), has stats and skills and stat/skill based combat, choices and consequences, stat and skill checks, multiple ways to achieve tasks then we will most certainly be interested.
J_J_M said:That is the next move in Bioware's agenda.sgc_meltdown said:next up are games for people who don't like games
Bethesda needs to step it up and be modern and progressive like Bioware. They are way behind in gay romances and no-gameplay. Add more cutscenes and take out the combat. That's the key in attracting an overweight female audience.
Cassidy said:Why stop here? Bethesda should innovate even further by making the first game 100% accessible to clinically idiots. Make sure it is playable with a single-button remote! Gamepads and motion control are so last gen and confusing, after all!
