For me, things have inclined to the extreme after the server split. I have a queue time of 10 minutes max no matter when I log in, and potato-speech is rare and doesn't happen in ranked.

In champ select in ranked at the moment. We have 2 potato on our team speaking potato. We asked them (in english) to stick to english. Now they're typing "kurwa" over and over. I really hope one of my teammates dodges before the game launches.

Joy! One of my teammates dodged! On the downside, it seems the ranked, normal and custom queues have just been disabled, as only tutorial games are selectable.

God I love this server. It is so much better than decadent imperialist west server.

there's no organized Kodexian Kool Krew so far as I'm aware, but several of us do play on either US or EU Potato. Not sure how many besides me are migrating to EU West when the transfers open.

That said, you're probably better off talking a few of your friends into signing up alongside you and playing with them for a bit. The game uses an invisible ranking system for normal games to match you up with opposition. If you join with one of us KKKodexians you'll be up against level 30's with 4-500 wins under their belts at least. You'll get slaughtered, fustrated and probably end up feeding the enemy team. If you play with your friends though, you'll all be on newbie island which is an altogether more forgiving place to learn how to play.

Also, poke through this thread. We've doled out tons of tips for new players on the earlier pages. And check out leaguecraft.com. They have a lot of champion-specific guides so you can look up what to be aware of when playing the free week champs.

I do. There is no way to get on NA/EU servers for us right? I tried proxies and shit after that stupid update which screwed the clientside hack and none of it worked.

But becareful because I play to troll people in ranked while I'm drunk usually; I don't feed or play like shit but I abuse the hell out of people who die (even just once) with insults and stuff to make them rage, enemies and allies both. I use annoying running characters like singed/soraka/sona though lately I've been playing pure sona/soraka so I can troll (typing stuff) without worrying too much about positioning and landing creepkills all the time.

Yay, so I bought Wukong as he seemed pretty awesome. And he was, the two times I actually managed to pick him before someone else did! I played like 15 games tonight and he was always instalocked, even in bot games.
But I liked his skills. Very easy to harass with, jump in stealth away, great damage out put from the get go, but as the games progressed I didnt really know what direction to take with him. Triforce-off tank seems the most reasonable choice.

Theyve ruined Trynd. They say they wanted to buff him and make him viable in higher elo, yeah that's great, but they seem to forget that it makes him even more powerful in the lower elo where he already was dominating. I saw like 3 penta kills from 3 different Trynds today. Jeez.

Tryndamere is easier to play now, but he's not as destructive mid-game as he used to be. His end-game can still either be total shit or "destroyer of worlds" depending upon who you are playing against.

BTW, Lee Sin is awesome. He has to have the most -- only? -- complicated toolkit in the entire game.

But he does seem dofficult to master, from what I've seen he (lee sin) either dominates or gets dominated, no inbetween.

I bought Brand yesterday aswell, as sort of a back up training champ cause I never seem to get Wukong. He's crazy powerful. His skills are complex too, as they get different bonus effects depending on the order you use them, different combos for different situations, feels epic when you pull them off.

I prefer to be a carry or AP caster and laning against Brand in mid with anyone so far is utterly horrible.

Brand is my secondary main. I pick him in Arranged Ranked when Annie is banned, which is happening often lately.

While Annie is the best of the two by far if you take the entire game into consideration, there is nothing that feels more powerful than playing Brand in the laning phase up until about level 9

I tried playing Olaf again and he still sucks BAD!.

He used to be one of my mains, but after all the nerfs he is useless in every way, shape and form.

He one of the Slowest heroes in game, the has low HP and his E is so nerfed it is not worth using.
SO instead i am playing around with Nassus again and i had to give him up a long time ago because they nerfed him.

He got buffed some patches ago making him into a monster with his Soul Steal ability.

Yeah I use complicated lightly. However, his toolkit genuinely has a ton of little things you can do that make him fairly unique and I can't think of any champ that's comparable. For one example, tower diving. You can Q a guy, Ult kick him away, Q again to get in his face (and do the added missing-health damage), finish him off, then W to a minion out and walk away. You also can't spam away your abilities because of his passive (50% Attack Speed increase for two hits, each of which returns Energy; if you don't use it you WILL run out in a team fight and be useless). I have never played Brand, but he does look interesting if you're smart with getting returns on the passives of each ability. He's just as strong as Annie, IMO, and never banned. An easy way to sneak a strong AP carry into a game.

Olafs E does 340 true damage, how come its nerfed? Its a grat finisher IMO. And his Q does decent damage early-mid with some armpen.

Played Olaf for 3 games, and the result is ...meh. Trundle, WW and Nunu are better junglers and gankers, IMO. Could try lane with him again for lulz.

How's that Twitch is so bad regarded? I'm level 23 still, and in normal games I've seen him dominating when played well and used to ambush unsuspecting heroes (which is why I loved Evelynn befored they destroyed her with the uber nerfing)

In other news, I've been having a 7 winning luck streak while trying Shen this week, looks like he's my lucky character.

id say shen is my best char (and i own him).
My scores are about 4/5/20 range.. but thats because i actually do nothing but try to save my team mates. If the carry is in danger ill def die for him..

Sad thing is:

a) So many people are to retarded to notice an initiation
b) You save carry knowing u will die.. carry thinks he can get a kil while the 3 taunted DPS champs are kicking your assl.. u both die
c) U get called noob for having a mediocre score... after saving every team member 5 times and taunting 15 enemies until their death (when people do catch on now and then)

Ive also bought Sion and although AP sion seems the way to go i have pretty good results as an AD-Off tank, I go atmas-warmogs-Frozen mallet and just decide what else based on game. I end up tanking turrets without a minion in site this way. at least it works at the level im playing now. We actually won a 4v5 this way
