I don't think champs can be judged based on experience pre-ranked, really. That is not to say -you- don't have enough talent to fully realise a champ, but more of that opponents are not good/organised enough to exploit your flaws.

A lot of champs that do amazing pre ranked are considered mediocre or even terrible in ranked.. not that i know i just hit level 28. But i read quite a bit

TWENTY NINE fucking pages. AM I mission out some good game here?

If you like/can stomach some pretty twitchy shit then yes

meh I don't like twitch gaming.

It's not that twitchy. If you can stomach a regular FPS, then LoL won't be too twitchy for you. The learning curve can be quite unforgiving, but if you take time to learn it, it's great fun.

You should definately get it. Don't spend the IP you get from matches on anything. Don't spend any money on it until you hit level 30 at least and know if you're going to stick with it. If you get to level 30 and still like the game, look through this thread for some of the times we've advised people on what runes to get for starting out and maybe 1 or 2 cheap champs you like. You should have IP enough for a full page and 2-3 champs by then.

For a "free" game, it's extremely polished and remarkably well balanced.

Replays from marathon on www.solomid.net

Playing as Orianna now, he got trolled hard as Brolaf. WW took his jungle, and they got roflstomped that game.

Watching it now. He just got trolled by a janna who decided to go mid and a jungle Xin Zhao who had to pick CV because of her. And now everyone's speaking polish in /all in a streamed ranked game. Good to know it's not just me who gets that kind of crap. :P

How's that Twitch is so bad regarded? I'm level 23 still, and in normal games I've seen him dominating when played well and used to ambush unsuspecting heroes.

Twitch has: Low HP, low damage (compared to other Ranged AD Carry Bursters), low MS, and low range. The one thing he gets in return is stealth; something which in the lane is utterly countered if people play defensively or spend 125 gold on a ward.

Against newbies who overextend and "forget" the existance of an invissible carry on the other team, my guess is he will feel pretty awesome. But once you get to a point were people have the patience to play careful, things'll turn around quickly.

(which is why I loved Evelynn befored they destroyed her with the uber nerfing)

Evelynn single-handedly made the game bad, that's why she was nerfed :)

A game with Evelynn lost all aggression in lane. People would hang back, focus on creep-killing, and do next to nothing besides. Games lasted longer, and less happened in them.

They are re-vamping stealth now, so you'll get her back. Hopefully in a version that won't cripple the game :)

I'd say that depends almost single-handedly on one thing: Do you have friends to play with?

If you register an account on EU East, we can play a couple games. You can find out if you're missing something then :)

No way, US Codex claims Jaesun!

Before we start fighting over Jaesun's hot ass, gayriffic as that might be, just let me nib it in the butt (lolololo) by saying I have a US account too ;)

My main account is on EU East though.

Just didn't recall Jaesun was from Seattle (many of my american friends are from Seattle, btw Jaesun, are you involved with WotC?).

Meh, I'll save the money then, though I'm already with 6300 IP.

I'll play some more until I find some champion that suits my needs.

The next seven levels plus some, you'll feel I've done you a disservice. But if you still play a while from now, you'll look back and say "I'm glad I didn't buy Twitch."

Unless of course, the coming revamp of stealth comes along with some nice buffs for everyone's favourite rat.

If you want a high tier, expensive champion who can stealth, buy Vayne.

I think I tried her sometime and didn't manage quite well, I think I'm more a support player, the only char I've managed to carry with sometimes is Teemo, and that's mostly because my team's full of newbies.

Mordekaiser and the stealth champs are probably the best pub-stomp heroes you can get. Mordekaiser in particular can carry a game very easily against low-ranked opponents. Just take top, farm, kill the crappy player opposite you, farm more, take a tower, go to mid and kill some people, take ghosts in teamfights and control it to kill more people, spam abilities and never die. He's ridiculous against unorganized teams and poor players. I usually play Mordekaiser if my Elo plummets due to the trolls I have the uncanny ability to always be teammates with.

If you want to play a carry, give Ashe a try. 1) She's really easy to play. 2) She's quite good. 3) She's only 450 IP.

She also has some great Support in form of her Slow and STUN that can turn a fight.

Master Yi is amazing pub stomp untill you get to a lvl where people learn to focus you first in team fight. Otherwise he is cheap and easy to get a lot of kills with. Actually most 450 ip heroes are good for 1st timers.

IMO its no use reccomending pubstomp champs to new players cause they're gonna play em just as bad as any other noob.

Chaox is almost done, Udyr next, saw him play lane Trundle yesterday, 160 creep kills in 20 minutes, he had Triforce at 19 and other team surrendered at 21 minutes. Shame. One thing these high level players are good at and its farming. Amazing how many creep kills they farm up in such a short time.

Maybe but Yi is very easy to use, you got your farming ability q, your autoatack rape face abilities e and r and heal. Was one of my first champions learning Lol and I went on killing sprees even not understanding a lot of concepts in the game.

Pub stompers help you raise Elo, not necessarily learn the game for new players. If you are new to the game you should focus completely on figuring out what everyone does. Knowing the potential of every champion alone will make you better than the general player. Believe it or not, but there is often very little skill difference between the top players and the mid-tier ones. The biggest separator is simply understanding the flow of the game and decision making on a strategic level.
