Finally got an Aatrox game I can feel proud of and insert him in my ranked starting lineup. Started red, killed the enemy Maokai at his red, then again a few minutes later. He didn't gank once all game. The funny thing is all 3 of my lanes were kinda losing, top had half the cs and was feeding, mid was losing to Malphite by a bit and was impossible to gank and bot was a slugfest. I was almost out of idea for what to do. Luckily a few more Maokai kills and some really good roaming by our bot saved the day. Won every skirmish, got mid tower, dragon and it snowballed from there. It's nice to have good teammates, my mid and support were putting deep wards sometimes that allowed me to make plays. Definitively a match to watch the reply carefully.

Did you start Doran's Blade that game, or just sell the machete early? I never seem to do that good with Aatrox outside of 3v3.

It's funny, the last two won games I had in gold were probably my worst ranked games in this season, with many derps and less contribution to the team than I'd expect from me.

Ye, i spectated that game, that Ren had 3 times the farm and they took your every buff except the first blue. They had like 5 wards on your upper jungle side and timed your blue in a sec.
Bad picks for top and jungle, imo.
In other news I had a 6 game win streak and with help of one of the rumanian buddies that can lane Vi top vs pretty much anything and not lose a lane i managed to

Yeah, that game was rough. We were outplayed by better players and above all a better team. No real shame in that, but we had some bad picks, our teamcomp wasn't optimal at all and we derped a bit as well. Uphill from the start and I just couldn't recover. Ended my perfect Nasus streak, so at least I don't have to worry about keeping that alive anymore. The Aatrox against us that game was running AS reds, LS quints and 0/9/21 masteries, started Doran's. Going to experiment with that a bit, he seemed to be superfast and still a strong duelist early.
And then we get matched against two sets of nooblets that we stomp 22:9 and 18:6 with both surrendering at 20.

So after not playing LoL for the longest time I check out the news bulletins they have and holy shit - that Hecarim skin.

Holy shit, what a game. Started with a dream start, I predicted Panth is gonna take my red so I picked utility runes and put the free ward to see him coming. Ended up in a 4v4 level 2 fight where only Rengar "new meta" support died.
I was 6-1-8 and thought it was gonna be a stomp but Gragas started stomping on Vlad and Darius got ripped a new one by Teemo eventho I went up twice and we killed him both times.
Then the shift came as Teemo got alot of new territory to play in. From 18-5 after 3 lost teamfights and 2 lost dragons we ended up at 19-17 and they were pushing at the mid inhib tower.
We needed a strategy change and take back some map control. Tresh and Darius bought Oracles while I was buying vision wards, they had a crapload of vision wards and shrooms all around the map.
When we started to clear em and deny them vision we caught them the same way they caught us. After that they couldnt win a teamfight and game went slowly back to our favor.

Interesting day in ranked today. First, I go 10/3/10 with Twitch with support masteries/runes since my pro switch with Leona didn't work out because FFSRiot, fix your servers already! Then I got horribly stomped as Sona due to the golden Blitz rule, terror on the enemy team and worthless on yours. Or maybe I just positioned myself as a tard. Also, mid was feeding. Then I rolled out Nautilus for a nice jungle stomp and finally round out the day with a little top Nasus, ending the game with 520+ damage on Q. The wonders of tinfoil Elo.
Heh, even Anivia? Though I guess she's technically naked.
Funny to think about how many good supports that removes. If you ban Thresh and Blitz (maybe Fiddle?) every game, it really only leaves rarely-used support picks.
Are Ez and Taric banned for being gay too? Or is it just about the half-naked chicks? (In which case, why ban yordles like Poppy, Lulu and Trist?)

There is one manly support that remains, the mythical AD support, Gangplank. He's seen a bit of a revival lately, anyone tried him? With powerful CC being favored in bot lane and quite predictable support picks from everyone, Gangplank can be really good rendering them useless with his oranges. And he can fight too. I played him a few times when he was free and I almost want to buy him, people run for the hills whenever Thresh is locked in.

Yorick support is the manliest of all, undodgable gay ass harass, it's like a ranged champion with melee tankiness.
It's always nice to be trolled in promos, tryhard all you want with your lame ass support it's no use. Say. "LoL ap nid support. Hey they have no wards mb gank?" "OK it's 10 mins nid only AP 0 wards still no gank? We even killed them once and I have Thresh?" "Fizz loses to LB?" "Riven loses to Malphite?" "Lee Sin is everywhere, halp" "I can't go ward anywhere because it's all black thanks to you bozos losing all turrets, and you blame me for lack of vision?" "How can MF miss every ult? I know, shoot waaay after initiation because she had important running in circles to do"
Next game wukong 70cs at 40min, and so on...
Also, I see our ryze has 100 health, he sees 1k health fed brand bluepill near. I know what's gonna happen and ping Ryze back. It still happens. Grlgbebbebebe
