Yet another boring as hell all star game. Since it's a showoff, why don't they just pick fun comps and champs instead of the same old meta. The Korean All Stars were much better than this crap. Even the last game between Samsung and CJ Entus was more fun (with role swaps and 13-3 jungle Twitch)

I'm kind of bored of this game. Used to be more when I was playing with Codex bros and fully premade teams were quite common. Granted, that was a long time ago, but these days it's hard to find even one bro to play with due to people dropping the game and me playing irregularly and at somewhat odd hours. The general LoL community is kind of horrible to deal with. Biggest thing is probably my lack of time though, no time to actually improve. That said, I haven't quit yet, for now I will mostly play things I think will be fun or interesting rather than standard picks. Derped a bit with support Veigar, with relic shield for Q stacks. P. fun. Hardly viable, but I'm tired of Morg, Thresh, Karma or Leona every game.

There's some new supports on the horizon. Vel'Koz support, Gragas support, Braum soon. I'm still sticking to my Janna/Soraka/Zyra trio of mages.

Vel is really fun as a support, Graggy too. The current changes to FF might make it less infutiating to have FF junglers in your game, on either side.

Oh god I hated Feral Flare so much. Nocturne was getting banned just when I was starting to play him better strategically and you had all the Udyr/Shyvana noob jungler wannabes never ganking and just acting like assholes. I still don't see the point of an infinitely stacking jungle item.

I think I play the game for the challenge of getting better. Every new tier teaches different skills. I definitively only play on champions I enjoy. Before every game you have this period of anxiety or tension, the last game we were against a Yasuo that was elo boosting his friend and a jungle Kha'Zix main. But when the game dropped Kha'Zix didn't have 1 successful gank and they both fed. If I wasn't looking forward to play on Nocturne all the stress would've spilled over because every game is like that. A team afk could make you go over the line.

It's great that the Madred's line became viable again and that farm junglers became good, but I don't know what Riot was thinking when they introduced such a feast or famine item like Feral Flare, especially considering the selfish play style it encouraged, even more so after the nerf that made it require 30 stacks.

Well you can't farm for 20 minutes if your lanes are losing. Even a massively stacked ff jungler cannot solo multiple people.

I think ff is fine at the moment with assists and kills granting stacks.

It makes it easier to reach the 30 point and the damage and life-healing of the item was reduced so that's good.

I play xin zhao for feral and pantheon for elder lizard.

Don't really do anything else, don't have Khazixs or Nocturne and don't want to play them either at the moment.

My final feeling on feral flare is that it's dumb as hell. Though I'm mainly bitching because while it's the best jungle item for Aatrox, he's still nowhere near the top tier of junglers and I specifically bought him after the item dropped. At the lower elos like mine it's far worse. Motherfuckers almost literally AFK with it, if you're not an idiot, you'll beat the enemy jungler if you get just 1 or 2 successful ganks. Had a game where the enemy Anivia and Udyr were in a bitch session with each other, the Udyr convinced that afk farming is the shit, goes to prove it once he gets FF by ganking me right under my tower. I'm playing Lissandra so it was as simple as just ulting him and watching the tower blow him up. The bronze tier plays man.

I'm interested to see if they do anything to try to bring back tank junglers in season 5. I was honestly fine with how the jungle was at season start. Jungling is tough as fuck to tune properly so the situation early one where the pro picks were at least as diverse as the lanes (not saying much) was good, and at low tiers you have even more perfectly acceptable options, such as Amumu.

Also, I love the hair trigger some people have in this community...had a match where Vayne bitched at our Soraka at select because she wanted something tanky. I'm sorry, if someone is forced to last pick support and they don't bitch I'm perfectly fine with them playing whatever they're best at. Queue about ten minutes of passive aggressive comments until I gank bottom, and god forbid, get one of the two kills from the gank. Vayne bitches, I tell her to get over herself, in those words and nothing more, and then put up with a verbal shitstorm. Thankfully we won hard (Malzahar mid went 6 0 8 and I went 10 0 7) and it's easy to drown it out then, but at this point putting up with people keeps me playing at just once a week. Team builder is a great feature where I get to play what I want on teams where we don't flame each other but ranked is still as much a bitchfest as ever.

Vel'koz provides good poke, nice disengage tool with his E if someone dives him/his carry and tons of damage through his passive even without items. Generally speaking a fun alternative to other mages bot. Good with someone like Ashe or Varus who can help out with their own cc so you can land your stuff.

Nah, it's better now as it allows you to gain stacks by doing non-lame things. The stat nerfs are completely irrelevant compared to the strategic advantage.

The item lost damage equivalent to 10 stacks and it also lost its heal, so it's a pretty big nerf. I still think the item is cost efficient on junglers with attack speed, but you can't afk farm for feral, just stick to the Wriggles.

So, anyone tried the burly goat herder yet? Looks like he could be fun. Nice to have a manly support. Unless you were a man already and played MANtheon or Jarman bot.

Only had him in one match so far. Some guy insisted on picking it because he was convinced he was super op even though we told him not to because no matter how well he can play him, we don't really know how to interact with him. He went 0 5 and 5 in a match with 30+ kills on our side but I suppose that shows more on him for not being able to be with the team rather than necessarily being a bad champ.

Besides that I see people ban him in my bronze tier games following the (decent) idea of "don't want some idiot noob on our team picking him with no idea how to play or build him, don't want the enemy to pick him and have him turn out to be some god of the battlefield."

A match between Braum and Morgana would be awkward though.

Played Braum twice today. Fun champ and you can make some cool plays both defensively and offensively with his W. His passive is damn strong, might get nerfed if he turns out to be a terror. Not going to touch LoL for a week or two, at the least, now and see if I still have any real interest in it after that.

First ranked game in about a week and I get hit with double the usual ping from Riot and it won't go away. Seriously. At least I learned to appreciate the poke of a Ezreal - Sona lane.

I think I may be done with league at this point. I was up for promotion to silver 5 times this week, all five times it ended horrendously. Somehow players in bronze 3 are less idiotic than silver 5 where I have been stuck with truly bizarre crap like ADC thresh, two people instalocking support after much bitching, losing matches where I go something obnoxious like 21 and 6 (I kept picking the stupid enemies so my teammates facehecked everything) and a match where I was 8 and 1 as Kha'zix, literally killing the enemy jungler in his jungle every time I saw him there, yet my teammates die to his ganks where he has a spirit stone and boots. I just had a match with a Rumble that would watch you die so he could be sure to get the kill. I had a 0 and 9 Vlad in a match. I had a game as support where top and mid combined for one lousy kill.

My sole win in my last 6 games I went 12 and 1 as Lucian. I realize you're supposed to be able to carry if you want to advance but this is pure obnoxiousness. I literally have to play perfect matches to win because my team is such a clusterfuck every time. No one even thinks to contest dragon. When I make a successful gank and ping the tower my teammate just runs off. In what fucking bizzaro world do I play in? The ranked system in this game is simply way too much of a clusterfuck.
