When you get all the radio tracks together and ghost people are storming the casino, Vera's hologram starts blasting them and the song plays. It was also on the Old World Blues radio.

Thought this was going to be Multiplayer. SP = No go...
RPG Singelplayer south park.. and for 40€??? F*** me sideways! rather wait and spend my money on somethign else. cant belive they developed this game for so long, and this is the result... Just looking at the screenshots gets me dissapointed.

No multiplayer = No buy.

I thought this was going to be like Castle Crashers - sidescrolling, RPG, action game with at least local coop ... I'm not going to buy it if it is like those games that wikipedia states for JRPG ... I didn't know this games had a genre, but now I know, and I am going to stay away from them as far as possible.

Truly Obsidian. Why couldn't you learn from the great designers of 2012 smashit Family Guy?

How dare you make a Single Player RPG!

There's a para-market for Steam games and game goods if you bother following it. 20$ (15€ish) is the current price there.

You convince a Russkie to buy it for you and gift it.
Well it doesn't take much to convince them, there are heaps of resellers around.

Watched all 3 videos. Kinda sad that they avoid Obsidian's name like a plaque. They never show it. "A game, from Matt and Tray, and from Ubisoft". It is not even on the cover of the boxes.

Time is at a premium with TV ads, you squeeze everything you can out of them. Name-throwing Obsidian would only mean anything for informed customers, which TV audiences generally speaking are not.

Honestly who cares about developers? Big name publisher and big name creators are enough.
Glad they ditch UPlay. A class move.

The only people who would care that this is being developed by Obsidian are people who already know. They don't have 'rockstar game dev' status that would lead to putting the logo in the ad (Bungie, Rockstar, Bethesda maybe).

Oh no he didn't https://twitter.com/Obsidian/status/430825149076500480

Thanks a lot. Was seriously thinking about dumping my pre-order.

Amen. A couple of acquintances of mine have absolutely nothing with games or gaming but are batshit crazy about South Park. They're all going to buy this one when rpg, Obsidian, jrpg and so on mean absolutely nothing to them. They all did love the trailers though.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger doesn't use Uplay either. I think these days Ubisoft only forces it on their first-party games.

Well, they forced it on M&M XL, I hardly call it first party.

Edit: Also fucking Heroes 6, both need uplay and conflux shit. I hope to meet with whoever thought that was a good idea. I'll teach him some good ideas!

It is because although a third party contractor made the game, the project was started within Ubisoft. Same for all of their HOMM games and other M&M spinoffs.
