It will eat you with its balls and then turn you into his load. Dicks double as antennas for navigation.

Here's a revision with proper multiheads and some more details

It's lovely the way multiheaded dicks swing back and forth in when it's walking.

This editor is fucking awesome. Too bad they dumbed the once awesome cellular stage down to this. But at least the creature stage seems to be okay.

I don't think it's actually dumbed down gameplay-wise, it's just the graphics. I'm more disappointed that they've apparently removed aquatic multicellular creatures completely. Then again, I'm sure it was only so they could sell it back to us later with an expansion pack.

I wonder what their excuse is. I mean, it seemed to work perfectly fine back then.

Apparently no one's asked them about it, so I guess they don't have one.

Man... gaming media really needs a Daily Show.

It's a shame really. The old look really looked like a heavily stylised microscope view, the algae in that first image is spot on.

Am I the only one who isn't cumming for this game? The creature creator looks like it will get old really fast. Plus it seems like the physique doesn't really matter. This game is compromised of minigames which probably means that at least one of them will annoy the shit out of me. I rather look beyond the gimmics and play a real strategy game.

Wasn't Spore supposed to be released like 2 years ago or something? Don't bullshit me that they didn't know the estimate. They lie about the release date to get people excited.

And what's the difference (apart from graphics)?
Spore is pretty much all about graphics. Remove the procedural generation of creatures and stuff, and it becomes a very simplistic and boring game. So I would say it's a pretty important change.
Gameplay-wise it seems that, before the change, you added spikes, cilli, flagella and stuff like that on your microbes. Now, you add eyes, claws, jaws and stuff like that which doesn't make any sense.
The guys who designed the original must be pretty pissed off.

Yeah, it doesn't. You can put a spike in a place where it is unlikely to ever touch your enemy, and it will still strengthen your attack by a fixed value.

Guys I named by creature Phallus Multicephalus and now the game won't display it anymore. WTF?
