On the plus side 2.0 seemed to make my Sith Marauder a bit tankier, he survives much better against mobs that used to wipe him.

On the negative...once you get past a certain level limit lower mobs no longer give *any* XP now. Which sucks because Mandalorian gold mobs were the best source of easy credits and decent xp on Dromund Kaas. Not to mention much more likely to drop commendations.

Feeling much beefier on my Mara as well. Plus dual saber throw seems to dispatch mobs rather quickly. Makeb content is well polished and the story is good, feels like a mix of personal story content+world arcs.

Still, they need to optimize this fucking engine some more, the frame rate drops when more players start showing up is annoying.

never underestimate the biowhores...

You said it yourself.

Because the previous threads have exceeded our normal threshold for thread length, we've started this new thread for the community to discuss this topic.

By god...

Some gay people use their time and energy fighting for marriage rights in the real world, some fight for a few lines of dialogue and a censored out sex scene in bioware games...

Is there Codex Guild in SWTOR? I actually kinda like SWTOR to my great surprise, I was expecting it to be utterly horrible drivel but I was pleasantly surprised it being pretty decent.

Not an official guild, but a couple of us here play. I'm pretty big into it so if your on jung ma let me know, we can run a few flashpoints/warzones. Also, what class are you playing?

Cool. I recommend leveling the Jug first because the general consensus is the Sith Warrior has the better story, plus the voice actor is amazing.

I hear RotHC is has a pretty good story but way too many mobs, and there were people showing up leveled up to 55 within a couple hours.

What does isotope 5 do? Why didn't the people on that planet mine it themselves?

*MINOR SPOILZZ*

It creates really powerful weapons and droids, and is an amazing power source. However, it also keeps Makeb stable, and when the hutts started mining it, the whole planet started falling apart. Thats why there are earthquakes happening.

This universe already has portable power sources that create laser swords that can cut through starship hulls. What you said makes no sense. An extremely powerful fuel source that keeps a planet stable. Ok.

They should have just called it space oil.

Combine a setting in which no one has never cared about consistency with a developer that has never cared about consistency and you get a game that doesn't care about consistency.

It's materia, folks.

Edit: Incidentally, loving the new level-tiered PVP. No longer do I have to play with people who have competed since day 1. Unless it's their alts.

I gave you a retard explanation from the top of my head, but heres what it says in the CODEX (OMG CODEX) entry
isotope-5 has powerful warping effects on gravitational and electromagnetic fields even in miniscule quantities. Early research into isotope-5′s potential as an energy source is extraordinarily promising. The substance is relatively stable, and particle bombardment could theoretically induce a desired state in the isotope to channel various forms of energy. Best estimates put the total amount of isotope-5 in Makeb’s core at less than two tonnes. Nonetheless, it is highly likely that Makeb’s atmospheric interference and unusual mesa formations are a result of the isotope’s presence.

Something I'm really enjoying about the Empire storyline is that we basically lost the war at this point. We have a ragtag blackops team on Makeb in secret, and your toon is the one trying to get Isotope-5 for the empire to have any hope for survival at all. Makes for much more interesting setting/story, and makes it seem very personal for a faction storyline. It's cool how they reference things you did in your personal storyline of course, justifying Darth Marr (for the Sith Warrior at least) asking you to be the one to hit Makeb.

Well that's depressing. Stupid Republic, we should have grabbed Hammer Station while we had the chance.
