Having gay characters in your game is not "putting ESG into games"
Putting gays, more blacks than whites, vitiligo, trans pronoun ideology etc in your game is.

It's the same formula every time. Pretend you don't notice it all you like, but no one itt will believe you.

K. If you say so.

This is not some righteous crusade against the encroachment of some political propaganda or forced messaging.
Who cares? I see a game with things I don't like in it, I complain about it. Big deal.

The only problem here is the politics you're trying to ignore. And if you want to ignore them, then do so. But that includes ignoring people's complaints instead of complaining about them.

"Ignore"

The only problem here is the politics you're trying to invent.

Otherwise, you just end up drawing the conversation back to the very thing you said you wanted to avoid.

The thread already went this way, and people say dumb shit, so of course I am going to respond.

Participating in an unpleasant discussion initiated by others doesn't make someone a hypocrite.

I swear some people have such narrow views
I swear the average IQ in this thread gets lower with each new page...
Swearing is wrong. Update your bot pls. :M

Seems like Nexus Mods users have had enough of the tranny and pronoun bullshit and are voicing their disgust for them and the trannies who have overrun the place.

I'll like to point out that Dark0ne used his connections with Bethesda to get Elianora, LGBTQ+ and BLM modder as well as a coal burning Fin, a consultant role for Starfield. If you are wondering why there is so many blacks and faggots in the game it may not be just ESG but Elianora's insistences that they were added into the game. It's no wonder Dark0ne is running defense for this game and all of its bullshit.

What are you talking about? ESG? In Starfield? Where?

Several times in this game, actually many times, I've had the enemy AI notice me, shout "get him!" or something, and then start running away from me. When I tried following them, they just keep running away until I kill them. Then it started to make sense: there is something wrong with the enemy AI where, when they notice the PC, instead of taking the shortest route possible, they will instead try to go all the way around, regardless of the map layout. This might just be the dumbest AI in a Bethesda game, ever. Todd, being the smartass he is, would probably say "we did it deliberately, for comedic effect" or "upgrade your CPU, peasant."

I don't know why this game feels so fucking boring, it has taken me two sessions in two days to actually get to New Atlantis ( also had to mod the third person movement because is dogshit) but I just don't feel the excitement to explore or do anything in this game.

Also the trees in New Atlantis look that they came from a PS2 game.

That woman CITIZEN folded in half like a lawn chair. :-D

At least ragdolls are one thing that mods are very likely to fix eventually.

The worst thing about this game's combat are the space suits.

Space suits are not power armor. They're space suits. One puncture and you're done. And if you're in an oxygenated environment, why are you wearing them?

The same with the hull of whatever space ship you're running around shooting grenade launchers on.

but how would you know its a space game if people were not wearing the spece suits?

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath

I give you darkpatriots "white guy". This is Trevor Petyarre, mining foreman, on the job. It is worth mentioning that every miner on Mars has this kind of orange reddish eye colour. Also, the last name Petyarre is aboriginal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petyarre

The notion that "anything that's not White is inherently exotic and interesting" is deeply racist. There is a whole book on the topic. "Orientalism" by Edward Said.

Holding MMB hides the UI and unlocks free look. Sweet.

Starfield runs on the same game engine Bethesda created for Morrowind, so many of the console commands have remained:

tm --- removes all UI overlay
tfc --- free camera
tfc 1 --- free camera with time frozen
sucsm x --- modifies the speed of movement with free camera to x (1 is default)

You can also use the console for various purposes other than improving screenshots, such as raising a certain person's com_affinity value to ensure this person dies during a particular quest.

Can you spawn a sword and a horse?

Anyway, Starfield's stuffed with “blacks and women are the future” stuff and of course LGBT prop.

But curiously it hasn't put people off.
Question, is it to the degree that it is shoved upon you in EVERY conversation and in EVERY interaction? If so, is it possible to refund a game that was received for free? Probably not I would assume.
I've been watching a few (long-ish) video reviews and the NPC “diversity” was the first thing I noticed. Almost all NPCs the player interacts with were either some shade of black or female, at least in the game review footage I saw. It could be argued that the devs just looked at real life demographic trends and are simply reflecting that. Or it could all be an expression of Todd Howard and the writers' race and gender-based fantasies. I think the latter is more likely.
Thanks for clarifying 911 Jumper. It's the LGBTQTOISDFAKL!)-whatever, that I have zero time for. Games are a hobby I view as a healthy avenue to reduce the stress/frustration issues of daily life. I do not need my hobbies (like games) to add to said issues.

"This is a videogame" doesn't excuse every stupid thing in the game.
Damage is an abstraction in basically every game ever to exist. (...)

I don't think it's reasonable to expect Starfield to do something that literally no other videogame has ever done (including my example of Metro 2033). I don't really have any issue accepting that combat, as in every other videogame ever created except like Bushido Blade and Hellish Quartz, is abstracted and that's why people are shrugging off gunshot wounds and their suits aren't rupturing. Even games with far more realistic settings than Starfield do it - Call of Duty, for example, which lets you shrug off gunshot wounds (CoD1) and even magically regenerate health (CoD2 onwards).

You fucking retard.

No game ever did what not just Dwarf Fortress or Unreal World and similar, but just from ones I have played also ARMA series - a fucking shooter, Red Orchestra 1 & 2 as well as Rising Storm 1 & 2 - a fucking shooters, and probably many more but I don't play shooters much. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a space game with such, and if not then Bethesda had a chance to be the first one to make space combat actually lethal (not necessarily difficult though, or player could eventually get Fallout 76 power armor etc).

Instead you swallow dozens of bullets with your spess suit and nothing happens.

It's getting killed on Metacritic user scores. It's around 5,4 right now. Even the critics score is at 87 and going down. The shills and haters are neck in neck with 978 vs 969 positive vs negative reviews. Most sane people have it between 6-7 and that's where it belongs right now. Mods cand raise it to 7,5 and make the game worth wasting time on in 6-12 months when it will be half the price or even cheaper.

You gotta wonder if Todd is basically some kind of genius for managing to continually fuck people up the ass, getting yelled at and then basking in enough praise that people still buy his new shit.

You can't be an idiot to pull that off. It's got to be some next level trolling.

I think it's a mix of Zenimax/Microsoft paying off outlets, and people growing up with his games and being blinded by nostalgia.

Todd is the old uncle whose strange behavior they ignore, no matter how many times he breaks their trust.

"What's that dear? Uncle Todd told you that there'd be 200 endings? Oh, he's just like that. Try to ignore him."

Many such cases. :M

Well, this is funny. Every Microsoft game this generation has been pushing for accessibility, except Starfield. Todd is such a chad that he doesn't even have to follow Microsoft's internal policies.

By Microsoft's standards, Starfield is a giant leap backwards for accessibility

Bethesda has a lot of catching up to do.
From the off, I discovered that Starfield has unintuitive UI, with menus that are cluttered yet lacking in useful information and detail. For example, when you pick up loot or a new weapon, item details don’t appear automatically, so to make an informed choice as to whether to keep what you've just found, you have to head into your inventory menu to check the details there. Traversing menus is a huge part of Starfield, from managing inventory and ammo types, through fast travelling, to reading your quest log. However it’s often frustrating to navigate and understand.

Elsewhere, combat can be tricky too. The Fallout series featured the innovative VATS targeting mechanic, in which players can pause time and target specific body parts or elements of the world while shooting. VATS enriches the game world whilst making gameplay inclusive. Its time slowing mechanic ensured disabled players did not struggle with the combat, especially when it came to the degree of precision required to manually aim at enemies during stressful real-time fights. Unfortunately, Starfield doesn’t utilise VATS or a VATS-like system. As a result, its fast-paced combat is challenging for many players to handle, especially with the added verticality and movement options gained by the boost pack.

Finding it very funny that in the
colony ship where all the residents have been socialising and interbreeding solely with each other for 200 years that every NPC has a completely different accent. Did they segregate the entire ship by country of origin?
