If that rocks your boat, check out the two 'Shelter'-games, which Endling borrows heavily from.

Looks like there's another "play as an animal" game that was recently released, "Endling". It's on a 2.5D plane and revolves around playing as a mama fox guiding her pups to safety.

WL'ed it.

If you want to play a non-retarded furry game then play Ghost of a Tale (inspired by Gothic).

Finally finished this one. Not worth current price, but worth a play. Only one, as there's nothing extra besides the main story (there are collectibles of sorts but the ending makes them redundant). Animations are good, character designs are okay (the cat's mug is ugly though), story is minimal and predictable, and the game seems to have something against humans, possibly due being made by Chinese devs (or at least Hong Kong ones).

For the aforementioned reason there's a standard dystopian police state regime in-game. There's also a mention of a plague that may or may not be a reference to "the cough", but what happened to humans is not known, besides being allegedly dead (and leaving no bodies behind).
At least there's no pronoun bullshit or other commie-speak.
Robots ingame are so identical to humans that they could have been replaced by such with minimal changes, but the robots' simpler designs were easier to make, I bet.
Gameplay-wise it's very simple, thankfully it's not just a glorified walking sim since you have to have minimal thinking abilities and reflexes for some sections. It's quite short, as mentioned here.

I give it 6.5/10.

Endling is closer to Shelter gameplay-wise, but made by Spanish devs.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
I tried the game but it's the type of game I find boring these days. Too much walking around, the objectives are just "find the thing" or "advance" and the catmosphere isn't very strong which is odd; in a walking sim like this, the atmosphere needs to be denser than this.

It's very pretty though.

But anyway it should have been obvious it would be like that, if you used your eyeballs and your brain. But then again Codexers can't know what to expect since they never play games.

Just finished it. Blade Runner visuals, an intriguing world, immersive music and impressive graphics spent on a dumb cat. I seriously don't get animal love. Wild animals are interesting, but a domesticated one, and to play a cyberpunk adventure as one? People are strange.

These are feral cats, or flat out wild ones by this point in the game world.

Domesticated, evolution-wise. Made worse through selective breeding. Look no different from pets.
