I'm purposely avoiding any discussions about the game because of spoilers, AoD hides secrets I can't even begin to imagine. This whole thing about the good old days of the Empire smells fishy to me.
How is Pope Amole II not in on this yet?

i spoiler-tagged it bros, VoD to the rescue
ps: i had to read it though, I'm spoiled now
daggers are OK not OPAre daggers just OP in combat? Or it appears a lot because it's easy to assassinate single targets with it?
A million fucking times better. The combat is really tedious and awful, but unlike PoE it can be completely avoided and the game works really well as a visual novel. So, what's the consensus so far? Better than Pillers of Eternity?

Both are great! So, what's the consensus so far? Better than Pillers of Eternity?
ToEEWhat isometric turn-based cRPG has good combat in your opinion?
Both are great!
Irenaeus II , any insight?Ok, I have another rather minor problem/question (probably due to my lack of competence again ) :
When I entered Maadoran and got to the hq of the Boatmasters, the door was locked. After talking to the guy beside it it wasn't locked anymore, but I decided to do other things first.
Now I reutrned, the door is locked again, and the guy is gone.
Hmm, is he there only occasionaly, is it a bug, or did I fuck it up?
Both are great but PoE could take lessons from AoD in terms of choices and reactivity.

Daggers are awesome for in-dialogue assassinations. They're ok in combat if you're good with them, but there are better weapons around.
Actually, if we play like that (and I do), shouldn't the design shift to accomodate that? Vault DwellerI always saved up skillpoints until I needed them to proceed.
That's actually a good tip.

TOEE had extremely shitty combat...
