Serpent in the Staglands Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
Brought this up in the tips and tricks thread, but the whole Arch area doesn't seem fully fleshed out.

How do you get to Al Akia after talking to the dudes at the arch? I got the coordinates, but now I still can't seem to do anything to actually go there. I tried talking to a bunch of people (the cartographer guy, Meru, Gaelius, the Zamedi demon, Abukar), but I can't even mention the coordinates to them. I even bought the astrolabe to see if that would do anything. Am I just locked out of there because I'm not with the right faction?

If it is faction locked, I think this needs a little more content. Right now it's just a super abrupt, unexplained end to the quest to find Al-Akia, which goes something like this.

Hear about cool place called Al-Akia several times
Get power glove and mechanical eye
Go to arch, talk to aliens and pass INT check to decipher coordinates
THE END

There at least needs to be something letting you know that you won't be able to decipher the coordinates so you don't waste an hour like I did trying to find any possible person to talk to who could help you. Preferably though, there would be some way to get there even if you aren't in the right faction. I mean, it's already a pretty out there quest just to have talked to the aliens in the arch. You need the eye, the glove and enough persuasion to keep getting zealot sacrifices. All that for absolutely no reward seems like a...uh...strange design decision.

You mean:

"From the top of the ziggurat, you survey a land barely recognizable. Your hand-picked slaves, the most capable and most pliable, kneel behind you. As with the God Himself, none may stand in your presence without your explicit invitation. Patiently, they wait your orders. It is not as lonely at the top as one might think."
Spoilers?

I got:
The%20World%20is%20Yours%20LWP%20vYeyo.png

And really I don't think there is a more satisfying ending that shitting in a throne with glowing eyes. Well, you missed the skull jar and some concubines at his feet.

EDit: Is the little sphere you get a reference to Torment? Little worthless object which actually is really important?

The intro says that it's damaged.

Well, it was VERY damaged. I didn't expect that from all people *I* would complain about easy encounters in AoD.

Assassino ganezzar questline question:

Darista sends me to kill Meru.

Why am I forced to work for Meru instead of being able to doublecross Varro and betray him to the Legatus or whatever?

And finally, why would doing Varro's work increase my reputation with the Boatmen? It doesn't make sense.

Edit: Also, the blind fighting scene was really fucking cool.

I wondered the same thing with the reputation increase; for me remains inexplicable.

You will however get that option with Varro later on in the questline. Why so late, who knows? Not sure about the Legatususus thing.

Technically, you're working for Varro who doesn't have Meru's best interests at heart. We had an option to tell Varro but it didn't really lead anywhere (ok, Varro's dead, you are no closer to your goal) so we removed it.

And finally, why would doing Varro's work increase my reputation with the Boatmen? It doesn't make sense.
Simplest reason: we don't have a 'splinter faction' rep. However, Varro is still a guildmaster and not every Boatman is Gaelius' loyalist. You aren't killing guilds' members (yet) and your exploits are bound to increase your rep. If you rep goes up *after* you turn on your own, that's an oversight that will be fixed.

Edit: Also, the blind fighting scene was really fucking cool.
Thank you. Glad there's something you like.

I have a question from my previous post about Hellgate, this time low spoiler
Is the construct at the entrance supposed to be a pushover? My non-combat diplomat threw a "Grenade" I found and fixed next to the elevator and stabbed the thing to dead afterwards (steel dagger). it could only attack once and I had a 75% to hit with 1 point in daggers.

Or was that a side effect of the grenade (is not exactly easy to identify and fix it afterall))? I found it pathetically easy.
Is that the "strange contraption" I got off the dead body? How do you identify and repair it?

Also, I was reading that Hellgate locks once you go in. I was able to just walk back out. Is this the way it's suppose to be?

US followed by Russia is pretty normal for a game with a Russian translation and Germany/Australia's positions seem pretty normal. Sweden is a bit higher than it normally is, otherwise seems pretty normal. THe mutal owners thing hasn't really changed since I last posted it though.

Bloody Oirish wouldn't know a good game if it hit them in the noggin. Shameful.

I'm enjoying the idea of some Marine playing this game while stuck on Bagram AFB in Kabul. I assume he's on a fighter playthrough. Unless a defense contractor purchased it instead, in which case a) he's a talker, and b) the USG is going to end up paying $470 for his copy.

It is a bomb. You can identify it with high Lore [7, I think?] and repair with Crafting 8

Funny that poland is not on that list because back in 2000-2006 it had ( along with russia ) biggest post-apocalyptic fanbase in europe. Plenty of sites and forums with many posts. Many potato users posting on nma. Now sites and forums are few and most of them are dead. Those sites and forums which still are alive are full of beth fanboys.
Not a single one of them had post about AoD release. Not a single site/forum had mentioned about new post-apocalyptic iso+tb crpg? This would be unimaginable back in 2003...
Modern polish post-apocalyptic fanbase is pathetic.

An interesting and fresh perspective of a genre lacking innovation and a bold move from an indie developer.

Most certainly not :incloosive:

I'm pretty sure that with a female character some dialogue checks are easier. I'm not kidding, ask VD. AoD is too

Roxor convinced them all that AoD would be shit.
