Best part for me is the start, no life story or starting dungeon, just create your character and you can fuck off anywhere you want, simple and clean.

I don't know what the best part of FNV was was but the most memorable part for me was entering Mr. House's preservation chamber and killing him. Why did I kill him? Because he was there! Most people who played the game probably never saw this because it requires a certain drastic choice and consequence.

I killed him because I worked for him loyally and then he asked me to kill the BotS and my lovely waifu Veronica and I was like fuck that, you're going down.

I really love the hero's journey in New Vegas. It makes sense to me that your character changes his life after being nearly killed. Your character rises from the position of a delivery boy/girl to a hero/villain of the wasteland after learning that the only way to survive in this world is to take what you want.
