An elegant solution would be to eliminate all megathreads so there's no need for the function.

Infinite scroll on rpgcodex megathreads? LOL, that would lead to stack overflow errors. There are many threads with over 1,000 pages. I assume there will soon be one that cracks the 10,000 page barrier.
