Now i know what Britain and the codex have in common....

I'm starting to get interested in that FPS project. Does anyone have an idea who's this sci-fi writer working on the story?
Our future products are planned to be less linear - taking it so far that depending on our choices we'll be able to visit totally different locations. In addition to that the player will have more freedom in dealing with simple quests.
TW2? Sounds a bit too good.

An unconfirmed rumor as to the sci-fi writer which somehow managed to sneak in-between the flames over here - Rafal A. Ziemkiewicz. Haven't read much of his stuff, he should be good at political sci-fi.

Oh, how joyous 't'd be if CDProjekt RED went down. Although I haven't played Ze Witchar yet, and there's a slight possibility I would enjoy it, I want to see all developers die. A burning death.

He went downhill from there, with his "Michnik = Satan" credo and all.
He's simply alergic to biggots. It's not his fault that Michnik fits into definition of biggot.

No it's not. In aRPG you control your character in combat and in a good (let alone one of the best) aRPG combat must be great - what's so great about playing QTE minigame while twitching RMB to spam Aard (if you're fighting humans) and Igny (if you're fighting monsters - don't know how they are written in english though as I have only rus version)? Good aRPGs also have lots of weapons and armours. Calling what TW provides poor means being too modest.
Nope, calling TW one of the best aRPGs simply compares it to the others out there. TW could suck even harder than you claim and still be one of the best. And just because you like playing "dress-up" and "phat lewt: you gotta find it all" does not mean that those need to be elements of "good" aRPGs.
With a better control scheme+camera it'd be a serious rival to the Gothics. As it stands it is very close to G3 in terms of "goodness" and thus one of the best.
(All aRPGs apart fom G1/2 suck.)

And considering that every single one of them is TW fanboy who enjoys games that play themselves - that explains why Codex gaming standards are so low and digging.

Stereotypes are great, but only for dumbfucks.

Witcher was not a pinnacle of RPGs, but it's still one of the best ARPGs. It has it flaws and it wasn't an redefinition of RPG as CDPR claimed, not even a RPG, but it's a good game. You either have a bad taste or our definitions of a good game varies greatly.

I didn't like it either and my standards are fairly low. I couldn't stand the fedex quests and the translated writing along with the horrible VO and despicable animations during dialogue made it unplayable for me. I might try the enhanced edition later though.

I've read his "Fucking organ-grinder's fate" which indeed was awesome (political cyberpunk) and some short stories, also good. But since he joined the rightwing crusade, I kind of lost interest. Neverthless I'd like to play a game with his writing in it.

I want a right-wing crusade game. Mick Hnick - the main antagonist and final boss - is trying to sway the 22nd century people with lies that the holocaust was true.

EDIT My Shodan is better than your Shodan.

And after finishing this game once you would play as Mick Hnick - Jewish ubermensh, smiteing the unbeliever goys.
