He either used a Homewards bone/the Homewards spell or quit the game during the bossfight.

I looked at him, and then used homeward bone in mid fight and prepared for him. What did you thought?

Donno, your wording was vague and left me confused -- hence me asking.

I've never quit out of a boss fight -- didn't even know you could til I saw it in a speed run.

Just had the experience with these archers in Anor Londo. And they respawns.

Also killed several silver knights, which also respawns.
Then I killed that heavy knight in room with that fog doors, the farther one. I wonder if it respawns as well...

Lots of guys don't respawn. The basilisks in the depths, the blowdart guys in blight town, the taurus demons in the ruins, those weird things in izalith, the necromancers...

basilisks definitely respawn. what "weird things" in izalith don't respawn? chaos eaters do, statues do too, as does the tittie demon... and iirc even the dragon asses respawn?

I don't think I've ever killed a dragon ass, so no idea there.

Frankly, dart spitters in Blighttown not respawning is a sign of From caving in to the weak and the casul. They're not even that dangerous or difficult to kill.

Pretty sure not all of the basilisks respawn (there's a pack guarding the evil eye ring right? pretty sure they don't respawn), the chaos eaters underneath onion bro don't respawn either, and neither do the dragon asses iirc (though tbh I haven't bothered fighting them since the PS3 launch version, but I recall wiping them all out for souls and the place stayed empty.)

checked the wiki: asses indeed do not respawn, as do not the chaos eaters near siegmeyer (but why would you go down there after you finish the quest? red tittie slab farming? lol), no mention of basilisks not respawning (and i distinctly remember farming them for eyes for the gravelord covenant and do not remember any basilisk not reappearing)

The knights up until this point (Black Knights) never respawned. The silver ones do though, as do the Royal Sentinels.

Speaking of, if I were to summon Sunbro and haul ass to the mistwall, will he follow me through or will he be trying to take down the Sentinels?

Can't remember for sure but he'll likely fight the sentinels for a bit and then follow or get hit while following you if you traverse the fog wall.He should survive though.

I'd probably go to Tomb of Giants with my divine club of infinite justice, to look at nice place. Also I didn't killed that guy in that tower near lake. So I'd wanna do that first as well. And I lost also 19000 souls to paint guardian.

Current attacks at silver knighs are
96 with my magic longsword +5
Two hit kill with gravelord greatsword (when I hit first hit two handed)
135 with my divine club of infinite justice.
166 with my bastard sword +10, but I need either more endurance, or remove gloves to have decent speed.

At least, I discovered I can hit silver knight through the wall with gravelord greatsword. Which is actually kinda funny, be able to make hole in the wall and hit the person behind.

The problem with royal guardian was I tended to thrust between his legs which caused 11 drinks of flask per one defeat. Also his blasts are nasty. nearly half HP down in single blast. I guess VIT 17 is tinny.

I'm sure you've caught onto this already, but it's not actually a good idea to fight most regular enemies unless you are farming.

Typical strat is kill everyone fist time through and get all loot/shortcuts/stuff, then rest at bonfire and run straight to boss to be fresh. Many enemies (especially in Anal Londo) won't go very far or through certain door ways.

Also, if you are near a bonfire and already hollow -- try parrying but hole

The giant knights are big and slow. You can plunging attack them, run up the stairs and do it again. Twice should be enough.

BTW the ones in the room leading up to O+S drop titanite chunks if you are looking for a place to farm em but are too afraid to deal with dickwraiths.

Finally finished the game for the first time just now...

(Beat final two bosses "Manus" and "Gwyn", choose the "Kindle" ending.)

:love::love::love::love:
This game, and the time I spent on it.

But :| now I really need to get some sleep...

Just beaten up Stray demon. I tried to poison him, but I didn't manage to run away and hide. I should try sneaky approach. The main reason was he has pretty brutal ax attacks. He can hit from half room because of length of his weapon.

The Stray Demon is a piece of cake. He's just a tiny bit faster, more health/dmg asylum demon, with an area attack. I beat him my first try.

Technically he has 2 area attacks. One of them has stupidly long range; if he's in the middle of the room he can basically hit you no matter where you go if you're not close enough to dodge behind him.

He tends to get stuck in AI loops though, which makes him really trivial and boring. He also tends to do horseshit things like instagib a player as soon as they land.
