I'm interested but cautious of endless dlc milking …
We're still playing STO. In fact, we'll soon be celebrating our anniversary. In before everyone leaves after a month. Never playing MMOs with the codex again.

Depends on how they handle it, but even in the event you DO want all the mission DLC they add it sounds like that'll still run you $5-10 a month instead of $15 a month for a normal subscription. And of course if you buy it during December you'll get the issue 5 content for free.I'm interested but cautious of endless dlc milking …
Wait , is it free to play , or do I still have to buy the box?
Is this game dead yet? Or is it alive and kicking with active players?

Can you see your character tits like in AoC?
So can anyone who's played the game lay out a more truthful overlook at the various classes, factions and so forth during character creation? Makes it easier to consider whether or not to get it.
I tried one of those free weekend trials, but i just could not deal with the combat and quest mechanics, the first being a jerky mess... the second making no sense how the game handled the quest log and how limited you were while accepting new quests. Has it changed in the mean time? for the better?
Is this the one game that you can die for real?
i meant like permanent death. Is this the one game that you can die for real?
Yes, if you don't watch your health in game, hitmen come to the address your account is registered to and execute you.
yeah that must have this game then http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/wod-meets-eve.70741/lol I know. No, I haven't spent much time with it, but the manual says something that sounds like when you "die" your guy is just defeated and unconscious or something.
sadly this looks like a yet another theme park mmo. With innovation being no class system
