Supposedly you could get any of this from Direct2Drive as well. They SUPPOSEDLY will pricematch Steam sales now. Supposedly.

So I hear.

But I wouldn't because Steam is better. :M

Not talking of D2D but Gamersgate. Their price matches the Steam one.

Kinda wish for a Mirror's Edge sale though. Only other place where it's available is EA's own store and it comes with Securom. At those conditions I'd rather get it from Steam.

I just got Alpha Brotocol for 7.50. It's the #2 seller on Steam right now. I guess a lot of people were like me, kinda interested, but not willing to pay much. Even if I hate the game (likely), I can probably have enough fun fucking around with it to justify 7.50.

Broderlands is 10 bucks, but it's not the 'game of the year' (lol) edition so fuck that shit.

Also, Steam is giving 30 people each day the top 5 games on their wishlist. You have to have 10 games on your wishlist to win, it seems.

And impulse has the Stalker trilogy for 10 bucks today, if anyone cares.

EDIT: Alpha Brotocol is now the #1 selling game on steam. Clearly, news of my purchase launched it into the sales stratosphere :smug:

Damn it, I can't believe I missed out on Warband for $10 back in August. I can't bring myself to pay 30 for what seems essentially like a multiplayer-upgrade to M&B, but I would've dropped 10 to see whether it's fun (and in case any decent mods come out for it).

Wondering if to get alpha brotocol or not, $12.50 here because our 1's and 0's cost more to make.

Sam and Max could be ok too, not sure how they compare to the president ones i've looked at previously.

I payed full price for Warband when it first game out, and I've poured a lot of fucking hours into it. It's not a huge improvement to Mountain Blade, but it's noticeable and I'm happy with it.

But you might want to hold out until Steam finishes their sales this week, they're switching the titles out everyday and I can definitely see Warband going up at some point.

You're also eligible to win unreleased games, so I have Deus Ex 3 in there.

Probably will end up in a sale again. Well worth picking up over the original though.

Picked up Brotocol and Sam & Max thus far.

Almost no reason to since the next expansion apparently won't be connected to them in any way and be standalone and include all the races and crap from 'em.

I'm glad I gave in and spent the 10 bucks on all 5 sam and max episodes. So far the game is very funny. I haven't played the originals but I believe I will need to.

I've been playing Secret of Monkey Island and I'm not liking that terribly much. Some of the puzzles are a bit "oh...uh ok." Not a bad game at all, it's good enough. I wish Guybrush could walk a bit faster though, or oh noez the game had fast travel.

Oh I know, but I've pirated and liked the games, so I wanted to make a "support devs I like" gesture. Although then again, I could just buy Retribution on day one.

5 EUROs spent on Deus Ex and Invissible War. I presume the discount was because you had to buy the bundle and couldn't purchase only Deus Ex.

Trust me, you'll end up better buying Deus Ex alone for higher price than this bundle.

I played both. Unfortunately. Sometimes it is better to listen to reviewers I suppose...
