Insert Title Here Strap Yourselves In I helped put crap in Monomyth

this weird, anime-inspired rusjank FEAR clone is on Steam nearly 20 years after it got released originally and it has an English translation somehow. i don't recall this game being translated into English officially, unless if Strategy First came across one or just did their own with ChatGPT

Wtf?! Unnecessary remaster, the original still looks great. It's sad that so many studios are giving up on their engines, switching to UE5 instead. :(

Yes and I guess there's an expanded part of the game or something...? I still need to play 1 but I will not be waiting for this...

This is getting removed too at the end of the month

I dont really care about the game but I am noticing a concerning pattern were several games are getting delisted because either the studio closed or the game isnt profitable anymore. I can understand why the devs do this since they dont want to spend money keeping someone just to track the finances of the dozen or so copies they sell but its another problem that is aappearing and will become even more prevalent in our all digital world.

While I generally agree with your sentiment, the Serious Engine 3 was NOT designed for platforming.

Try jumping on a thin wall in the original Talos Principle. 99% of the time you'll slide off for no reason whatsoever.

In this case the engine switch may be an improvement.
