My limited purchases so far. I do tend to have refined tastes which makes the process of purchashing a bit tedious. I plan to spend 4 - 5 hours going through my wishlist of 2200ish games. But even if we just look at Steam in isolation, sales are frequent enough that there typically isn't any reason to buy something now unless you have a strong desire to play it imminently. There will be a big "Winter" sale in about three weeks, for example, during which time you'll probably see prices at least as low as those you see right now. Perceived time constraints are almost always an illusion.
