Anyone try "This is the police"? Apparently it's very linear (or scripted) which is unfortunate but the idea is cool.

Played it for a bit. I like the idea and the voiceovers (the main guy is voiced by Duke Nukem!), but it's very slow.

You get a call about some disturbance or robbery, and you dispatch an officer or two. Then you watch them sloooooooowly make their way to the scene (which often takes two or three hours in game time) and you get a pop-up with the result. That's mostly it. You sometimes get special events where you have to decide which course of action to take (a) Go in guns blazing; b) Observe the situation; c) Call for backup; etc.), but they seem pretty easy to figure out. And you also get "cases" where you have to decide if you're going to be an honest or crooked cop, as well as some light sim elements, mostly to do with hiring/firing/promoting your employees.

The game takes place in 180 days, and I've only played the first 10 or so, but I probably won't continue with it, haven't found it all that fun.

Bethesda got greedy as fuck after the release of Steam refunds. Bunch a cunts.

They're also fucking retarded with foreign currency. Since South Africa got Steam in Rands, most developers/publishers have been working it out at R10/$1 to try and price it more fairly and match what we pay at retail. Bethesda decided fuck you and just convert directly, screwing us over to the point that some stuff that are on sale are more expensive than just buying it for full price retail.

I suspect it might be because they've seen they're not going to make money from their Season Pass. The MP is largely considered awful and that's what the entire season pass is based on.

Mordheim at 60% and with the weekend for free. Just in case someone (like myself) hasn't played it yet.

And Arkham Knight is on a nice enough sale that I wouldn't feel bad about buying it if it turned to be a big turd. But there's being a turd, and then there's being a broken turd. ¿Anyone could tell me if the game is in a playable state now?

I got it and it was reasonably good on my GTX 970 4GB - I don't know if it's because of its current state or what.

You can always buy, test it and refund it.

Loving Stronghold combat campaign. Fucking typical, cheapest Steam purchases end up being the best ones. Should stop buying anything above 3 euros.
