Siralim 2, a turn based RPG just came out. I know nothing about it though. Description seems like pokemon.
We had a Siralim thread. It was deepish in the mechanics side but it got very repetitive and grindy very fast, and not in a good way. I'm still buying the sequel tho.

Bought 8-Bit Hordes, a voxel based RTS that is VERY reminiscent to WarCraft 2 with WarCraft 3 and WoW visuals and some gameplay elements that are lifted from C&C series. Honestly, it's pretty good. It's been a while since we've gotten a decent RTS, and most of the time they are online focused. This has both good online and a fun and challenging campaign for each of the two factions (Orcs and Humans). What's also pretty neat is that there's a separate co-op campaign as well so do try to get a friend to get the game as well for maximum fun. Also features usual online PvP with up to 8 players.

I also bought Siralim 2 but refunded it pretty fast. I can see this being a pretty banal grindfest but what irked me the most was that other than monsters have stat variation and a minor trait (some kind of passive gimmick), they didn't have any real flavor of their own. Being able to completely customize their skills yourself works against the monster trainer genre imo because finding your favorite monster means also finding one that has a move set that you enjoy (and then customize them, within reason, via breeding / fusing). Since none of them have their own move sets it's pretty meh to me.

Disgaea is at -25%, http://store.steampowered.com/app/405900/ , leaning towards it.

Pretty tempting. I played Disgaea back around when it came out. The story, atmosphere, and grinding turned me off big time back then. I wonder if I could look past those things now?
I played it on the DS, but I think I like to see it on PC. Almost bought Dragon's Dogma at -40% but a moment later is was at -25% so yeah. But the sale is until monday, so time to think.

What does this mean for mods? Or it's just a "copy" of the gog version, as it often happens?

Yeah, I think they are going to use the Gog connect thingy for this. It also means more people will get to know Arcanum which is great.
