Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
i have tried it.

+ game looks great. main characters looks great in cutscene too. side character looks noticeably have stiffer animation but overall the game looks great
+ good VA
+ i like the combat so far, feels like SMT/pokemon and while the demo is not big, i am curious how it will evovle

- there is no actual detective mechanics. you just use eagle vision thing to click on icons on the map, the game will do all the deducing for you. dunnow how it will develop later, but every dialogue optuions feels like the withcer 3 when you use the persuasion magic sign. the dude even do the whole geralt thing when he hex people with magic.

it seems like those game that live or die with how tge writing and story goes. might be enjoyable RPG lite who knows

I guess it's something to try in 2031 when I'm done with BG3, Starfield, Cyberpunk expansion, new WOTR DLC, Underrail DLC, Colony Ship and Rogue Trader.

Secrets, temptations, wealth and the kingdom of death. Weles is all those things, but most of all, he's splendor itself.

Hello everyone,

This is a series of posts in which we'd like to dive deeper with you into a large and substantial part of The Thaumaturge's lore - the salutors. Some (but not all!) of the other salutors you'll encounter in the game have been introduced here:
Salutors - Lelek
Salutors - Upyr
Salutors - Bukavac

A mysterious disappearance at Powiśle
A wealthy merchant frequently seen playing roulette for high stakes has been recently reported missing by his daughter. He would not be the first one to pay the highest price for running out of luck.

Strange events that may resemble stories straight out of a crime novel have recently taken place in one of the most notorious corners of Warsaw. Ludwik Baar, a respectable citizen who normally resides at Southern Śródmieście, was reported missing by his daughter just a few days ago. Despite the efforts of police, the whereabouts of this missing person are still unknown.

Nevertheless, the case is not entirely unclear. Our sources at the police station claim that Ludwik Baar was a notorious gambler. Having made a small fortune by selling tent cloth to His Majesty's army during the Chinese expedition, he had a lot to spend. Maybe that’s why Baar frequently left his luxurious apartment in the evenings, simply to venture into Powiśle, where many basements hide secret casinos and gambling dens. One can only guess why authorities keep turning a blind eye to such establishments…

According to an anonymous witness who had seen Baar during this fateful evening, our missing gentleman was playing roulette for high stakes. “It was as if some gambling demon possessed him”, claimed the witness. Win by win, as Ludwik Baar’s purse became heavier, his life became more endangered. It’s obvious that Powiśle was never a district lacking people willing to spill blood for a substantial amount of rubles.

When he left the underground casino, smiling as the luckiest man in the world - it was the last time anyone had seen any trace of Ludwik Baar.

The missing man’s daughter declined to give us any comment on the matter.

Powiśle, Warszawa 1905
Inhabited mainly by the members of the working class, this district is one of the most colorful, yet poorest districts in Warsaw. Situated on the shore of the Vistula River, Powiśle houses many stores, amenities, and warehouses. Some of these establishments, like the warehouse owned by the esteemed Jewish merchant Ariel Rofe, are said to shield gambling and illegal boxing matches. Somehow the local police fail to take notice of such activities.

The splendor itself
Weles can prove to be a formidable ally but it's crucial to remember that he is an unpredictable entity, and trust should always be extended with extreme caution.

In ancient Slavic beliefs, Weles is symbolized as a proud snake adorned with golden scales, embodying the God of the underworld, prosperity, and deceit. This makes Weles an ideal companion for people from the upper echelons of society. However, much like luck itself, Weles can capriciously abandon an unfortunate player precisely when they need him the most.

When targeting someone’s darkest desires, this Salutor’s pursuits are usually connected to concealing secrets, as well as an inclination towards manipulation and intrigue. People who draw Weles delight in sowing chaos, all while watching the world burn from a safe distance.

Do you like taking risks during battle? Weles can prove to be a formidable ally for those who refuse to pull punches, nevertheless, it's crucial to remember that he is an unpredictable entity, and trust should always be extended with extreme caution.

The Thaumaturge | Salutors - Morana [EXTRA]
df493ddaa7932c9c775d1d62533f410be741c710.jpg

Hello everyone,

This post is a result of a series of articles which appeared on GameRant recently. They're a great lecture, if you'd like to learn even more about The Thaumaturge!

All the articles can be found here[gamerant.com]:

Morana
A quiet death beneath the water

In ancient Slavic beliefs, the cycle of death and rebirth plays a prominent role. This is why the death of the Goddess Morana at the end of each winter is also considered the rebirth of Spring. Each year, a ritual is held to celebrate the arrival of Spring, during which the participants sing traditional songs and throw effigies of Morana into the water.

However, only those skilled in the art of thaumaturgy know that there's more to these rituals than meets the eye. This is because Morana is also a powerful Salutor, but she is not easy to meet. You can try to find her lurking just beneath the water's surface, waiting to take a surprised victim into her cold and deadly embrace.

News of drownings at a specific spot along a river bank can be a clear indication that Morana hides nearby. She excels in fogging the minds of her prey, making them more susceptible to her attacks.
